CHURCH REVOLUTION
MULTIPLY GROUPS & MULTIPLY GIVING!
Capital Campaign and small group launch is a killer one-two punch Our project called “All In with the Rock Church and Miles McPherson included every component of what we do best, including a town hall video shoot, live worship production, microsite strategy, full-color customized print curriculum, video testimonies, video promos, coaching, and more. Years ago we consulted with Miles and Rock Church to help them with their small group ministry, and in 2015 we reconnected with them as they prepared for an unprecedented $75 million capital campaign and stewardship emphasis. Their small group ministry had lost some momentum, and we worked with them to assess their opportunities and develop an 18-month partnership including seven curriculum series that aligned with their ministry goals and initiatives.
With limited preparation, Miles was able to spend one day and produce a breakthrough six-session video curriculum in a highly interactive format, and the Lifetogether team created a beautiful magazine-style print curriculum with spectacular production shots from weekend services and weekday ministries as well as the video shoot.

Major Breakthroughs In conjunction with the “All In” stewardship campaign, Rock Church launched more than 400 new small groups in a very short time and catalyzed 300 existing groups, connecting almost 75% of their adults into a small group experience (and resulting in capital campaign commitments of $75

million dollars!) Altogether, “All In” created a buzz that a sermon series never could have done on its own, and Rock Church has sustained more than 300 of the new groups launched as part of the initiative. Second to none, this alignment campaign the All In series helped the Rock Church have an impact that exponentially connected over 8000 people to come together for one season, to hear one voice, in one series, as one church. Today they are exploring and preparing for another alignment series in 2016 and beyond. Leveraging your existing network of small groups is one of the most effective things you can do to multiply the impact of your stewardship initiative or capital campaign. The combination of interactive video production, worship, leader training, microsite strategy and church-wide alignment can change your church! We’re especially excited about working with Miles on a new series as well as a series based on his life message and recent book, “Do Something.”

What We Did Townhall Format The curriculum we produced was in the Town Hall production format. This included over 50 people joining Miles on the stage for an extremely interactive, unplugged, & dynamic “conversation” about what it means to be “All In” as a church member. This very unique and breakthrough format from Lifetogether is the most popoular format by far. The fact that you get a broad group of people from every ethnicity, age, and lifestage helps to bring the message to life. People were able to engaging and interact in a live discussion around a topic up close with their pastor.
All In Curriculum Along with the video curriculum we produced with their team, we were able to produce a full-color, 150 page, print curriculum to go alongside the video series. Working hand-in-hand with the Rock team and our team of writers and designers we developed this beautiful piece of art that really ties in the entire series and gives the group a resource that is personal and moving. The curriculum alligned with the capital campaign in some very unique and dynamic ways. Check the entire thing out.
Worship The print and video curriculum are two stand-alone pieces in themselves but there is one more element to this project that put “All In” over the top. We were able to produce the Rock worship team and a group of live worshipers. This was in efforts to decentralize the worship experience into homes all over San Diego. This is a revolutionary and new approach, not only for small groups, but in how church will be done in the future.

Impact Beyond Small Groups Lifetogether’s strategies and leadership helped Rock Church move from incremental group growth to exponential growth. The goal of 300 new groups was far exceeded and that was with a generosity campaign! Feedback from participants showed that the worship was and engaging the studies were transformational. The integrated approach to the capital campaign and small group strategy have been reaching well beyond the six week campaign. securing committments of over $72 million. Over the next few years this will not only help reach their goals as a church but have a great impact in the community.
Word from the pastor “The reason this campaign was so critical right now is that our country needs to see, not just hear, but to see the powerful hand of God, working in and through people. They need to see the love of God in action. Lives will be transformed and the hopeless will recieve hope and I believe that is why God has us here right now, in such a time as this.” - Miles McPherson
