Add a Shape Element Build the Book (category) Simple shapes can be added to your yearbook pages.

1. From the Menu, hover over Book Builder and select Ladder Diagram. o The Ladder Diagram screen displays all pages of the yearbook based on your contract and the background and border based on the theme you selected. o đ&#x;šŠ Shortcut: From the Dashboard, click Build Pages under the Quick Links.

2. Click on the preview for the page spread you want to edit. o The Page Builder screen displays the Canvas for the page spread.

3. Click the Frames & Shapes link. o The Frames & Shapes menu options display. 4. Click Shapes to expand the category. o All shapes in the category display. 5. Drag and drop the shape to approximately where you would like it to appear on the Canvas. o The shape appears along with its Tool menu and the Trash Can icon. 6. Update the shape as necessary by clicking on the Tools menu icon . Options include: Frame Options, Drop Shadow, Background Color, Transparency, Order, Rotate and Flip.

7. Click Save from the Page Builder menu. o The new shape is saved to the page spread. Advanced Color Options Note: You must have a shadow position selected to use any of the Advanced Color Options. •

Year Book Colors: 1. Click the Edit Colors slider to On (blue). 2. Click the color picker eyedropper. 3. Click any color within the Page Builder window with the eyedropper to select it. • The RGB color for your selection displays. 4. Click the icon to save the color for use. • The color square displays as a choice option. 5. Click on the color square of the saved color to apply that color. • To remove the color square option, click the trash can to its right. Lifetouch Colors: o Click on a predefined color square to apply that color.

Click on a color along the color spectrum. Then click on a version of that color in the color window at the top. Alternately, enter in a numerical color at the bottom. Numerical options include (rotate through using the arrows): HEX, RGB or HSL.
