Original Cover and Endsheet Guidelines

Overview

The following are guidelines for artwork you are submitting for your original cover or endsheet design. You must upload artwork on or before your deadline.

Follow the guidelines

• The length of the file name should not exceed 25 characters.

• Name your file using characters and/or numbers, do not use *, &, ‘, or other special characters when naming files.

• If you need to upload more than the allowed number of files, please zip your files together using a file zipping software.

• Make certain all images are high resolution.

• Contain all fonts used in creation of the artwork.

• Unflattened files should contain all layers and be submitted along with the all the images or elements contained on the layers.

Required Resolutions

• Line Art – 500 Dots Per Inch (DPI)

• Color – 300 DPI

• We recommend that artwork is submitted in CMYK to ensure accurate color reproduction.

• Unflattened files should contain all layers and be submitted along with the all the images or elements contained on the layers.

• Images to be reproduced in spot color should be labeled with PMS number.

Following software files are acceptable

• Adobe Photoshop (version 4.0 and higher)

• Adobe Illustrator (version 6.0 and higher)

• Adobe InDesign (all version accepted)
