Choosing and editing fonts

On your design, select the type you want to adjust for type face and size. Click on the “gear” and drag to “Font & Size.”

5 Add a light, tight drop shadow to make your headline “pop” off the page. Go to the “gear” and drag down to “Drop Shadow.” Change the opacity to 30 percent. Keep the horizontal and vertical offset settings at 2 each. Set the blur to 7. Your shadow will be subtle and will add dimension to your design and emphasis to the headline’s key words.

To choose a color for your type, select the type, go to the “gear” and choose “Font Color.” This designer chose to “echo” the blue in the jacket the girl in the dominant photo is wearing. The designer selected the eyedropper tool and clicked on her coat.
