Edit the Yearbook Cover
Pre-Designed Cover
Overview
Each theme comes with a default coordinating cover as selected when the contract was agreed with Lifetouch and your Sales Representative. The steps below will outline how to select, change, and edit your pre-designed cover.
1. From the Menu, hover over Book Builder and select Cover. You can click on Cover directly on your yearbook Dashboard.
a. The Cover selection screen displays and shows a preview of the covers.
i. You can filer the results by checking/unchecking the View. Options include All, Recommended and New.
ii. The recommended cover for your selected theme is shown first and is marked with a green R.
2. To choose a cover, click Select for the desired cover. Optionally, you can enter keywords into Search and click Enter or hit the magnifying glass icon.
a. If you have not already chosen your theme, you will receive a dialogue box at this point asking if you want to select the corresponding theme for your selected cover.
b. The cover (front and back) will display with text placeholder on the canvas preview area.
3. Enter the title to display on the Cover in the School Name (Line 1) section.
4. Select the School Year Format (Line 2) by selecting from the drop-down options.
5. Select Text Color. Defaults to the recommended color, which is the best option that will be visible on the Yearbook.
6. Click Save. All changes have been saved.
7. Once you are certain your Cover is complete, click Submit
a. The Cover is sent to the Lifetouch Production team. If changes need to be made, please contact the Yearbook Support Team.
If you would like to change your yearbook cover to an original design, you’ll need to contact your Lifetouch Sales Representative to make a contract change. Original Design covers are used primarily when a school has artwork done by students and want it to be used.
