Exercise 2: How to hold your camera Teachers, divide the class into groups of 2-4 students. Students, as a team, create a video or slide presentation showing how to take photos with a DSLR and with a smartphone. If you don’t have a DSLR camera or a smart phone, pantomime how to hold cameras using a “pretend camera.” Show how you would use a tripod and monopod, too. Be creative in your presentation. You might make it a story -- a photographer’s journey through his/her equipment. You could have some team members pose or act out situations while another team member takes the role of photographer. Creativity will be a part of the evaluation, so let your imaginations fly! Submit video: Place your video in a Google folder and add the link to your video here:
