Set-Up Pricing

Overview

Setup pricing provides an opportunity for the school to decide on one or more pricing options (including tiered pricing), create ads and setup.

1. From the Home screen, hover over Sales Tracker and select Set Up Pricing.

a. The yearbook pricing shown is entered by Lifetouch based on the agreement with the school. If there’s no price listed, please reach directly out to your Lifetouch Sales Representative.

2. Select all the school grades that will purchase yearbooks.

a. The grades selected will be the grades displayed to families when they order on YBPay.

3. Choose the products to display on your YBPay account. The options available will reflect the options from your contract.

a. If the items are not check marked, they will not display on YBPay.

Setting Up Pricing Tiers

Pricing Tiers are set up for when a school wants to offer the cost of the yearbook at different price points through a specific time frame. For example: Fall Sale $50.00 good thru 11/01/24 (1st tier) and Winter Sale $65.00 good thru 04/01/2025 (2nd tier).

1. Click on Add Tier under the Tier Name section.

2. Enter the name (Fall Sale, Winter Sale etc) of the tiered pricing in Tier Name.

3. Select or enter when the pricing tier Starts and Ends

a. May click on the calendar icon to select the dates.

4. Select all the grades that can purchase this pricing tier.

5. Update the Consumer Price for one or more of the products offered in the pricing tier to reflect the special pricing.

6. Click Save.

a. The new pricing tier displays in the list of Tier Names.

Set Up YBPay

YBPay is used to accept online payments from customers to purchase a school yearbook, school ad and any additional enhancements.

1. To activate YBPay select the YBPay activation date and YBPay Close Date.

a. Click the calendar icons to select the dates.

b. The message, “Your YBPay site is now closed.” Will displays if there are no YBPay dates listed or if the Close Date is past.

c. YBPay close date is optional. The YBPay activation date is selected, an estimated YBPay Close Date will display. If your school wants to close YBPay earlier than the default estimated close date, you can manually enter/select a date in the YBPay Close Date.

i. The estimated close date is (whichever comes first): 1. 5 weeks prior to the estimated yearbook arrival date or 2. Once final quantity is submitted and there are no more books available to be sold.

2. Optional: Select if consumers can see an option to donate money to the school to purchase additional yearbooks. Select the radio button yes (to have option available) and no (option not available).

a. If selected yes, enter a message under the Include a message about the donation on YBPay (optional) section.

3. Enter a custom message for consumers under the Craft a message that customers will see on YBPay (optional) section to be displayed on the YBPay site for consumers.

4. Click Save
