Use Planning Pages

Overview

Planning Pages are used to practice or see what a layout of the yearbook design would look like.

Setting Up Planning Pages

WARNING: Only the primary adviser can set up access.

1. On the Home page, click on Book Builder.

2. From the drop down select Contract and Book Settings.

3. Scroll down to Planning Pages and click Yes to enable Planning Pages.

a. Select the Number of Planning Pages from the dropdown.

b. Once number of pages are selected you will not be able to change the quantity of pages.

4. Click Save Changes.

Building Planning Pages

1. On the Home page, click on Book Builder.

2. From the drop down, select Planning Pages.

3. The Planning Pages: Ladder Diagram will be displayed.

4. You can begin building pages.

a. Plannings Pages are indicated by a P# (number) P3

WARNING: These pages do not automatically move to the ladder diagram for publication in the yearbook

Using Planning Pages

Planning Pages can be used to practice and/or draft a design of a page in the yearbook.

1. Click on Book Builder and select Planning Pages from the drop down. Planning Pages: Ladder Diagram displays

2. Click on the specific page that you want to practice designing your page.

3. In the toolbar click on More Actions.

4. From the drop down select Save as Custom Layout

a. Create New Custom Layout displayed.

5. Go to your ladder diagram and select the page that you want the layout to be on.

6. Open the page and on the left-hand side click on Layouts.

7. Click on Custom Layouts and select the Planning Page layout that was just saved.

8. Drag and drop the Custom Layout onto the page.

9. Click Save Changes.
