Immerse yourself for 4 months in cities undergoing a full-scale : Rio, Detroit, Eindhoven, Seoul and Phnom Penh. An opening up to the world through artistic and technological exchanges, , the 4th major thematic season designed by will be taking place in Lille and in 77 municipalities throughout the Eurodistrict, constantly seeking to reflect the vitality of today’s world. Opening parade, major exhibitions, urban metamorphoses, new models and manners of living together, shows, inflatables, Do It Yourself, design, food, debates and original events.

Major project on the theme of Brazil in conjunction with community groups, dance schools, local residents, students, conservatories, music schools, batucadas, as well as brass and accordion bands from Lille.

Taking place in Lomme, Englos, Halluin, Ronchin, Roubaix, Capinghem, Escobecques, Wattignies, Sainghin-en-Weppes, Sequedin, Wasquehal, Marquillies and in the 10 districts of Lille. MUMO — The Mobile Museum for Children is going on tour! Created in 2011, this lorry-museum will feature a collection of 14 works specially created for young people by internationally renowned artists.

Rio, Cidade de la Samba, hot-blooded city of contrasts! The Maison Folie Wazemmes will host the exhibition Cariocas! dedicated to artists and collectives inspired by the city and its streets. Big names from Detroit such as Scott Hocking or Destroy All Monsters will present their visions of the former Motor City, the new faces of this “City of Dreams”. Detroit is also the birthplace of many musical styles: techno, rhythm and blues, soul, hip-hop and rap, which will be popping up in Lille and throughout the metropolitan area.
Twenty artists representative of the artistic energy emanating from Phnom Penh will be celebrating the rebirth of the Cambodian capital. All draw their inspiration from the city, which they express through various media: video, photography, performances, street art and sculpture. Orange, lemon, pineapple, banana, coconut, nettle, seaweed, mushroom, coffee, rice, soy, corn, beet, wine, beer and shellfish... We eat them, drink them and weave them! The new version of the Futurotextiles exhibition presents fibres, both natural and artificial, derived from animals or plants, part of which are edible and other parts of which are used to create fabrics.
