A Letter from Philip We, collectively at Lincoln, are the”tree,” from the team members who interact daily with our residents, to the individuals that welcome new residents into our communities at the various welcome centers and housing offices, to the support teams at the GMOs and our LPC partners in Irvine, Dallas, and Herndon. How each of us, our government partners and our residents FEEL about us...that is the Shadow. As we have grown together, the “tree” is ever-changing, and our goal is that each change has a positive impact on our “shadow” - our reputation. Our residents provided record high levels of responses this year for CEL, that will inform how we continue to grow and improve in our relationship with them as our customer. In the same way, your input on last month’s Employee Engagement survey will help shape Lincoln Military Housing for years to come, with the goal to continually “get better!” It is clear that while our residents, and the majority of our teams are generally satisfied, we have work to do. I want to THANK YOU each for
“ Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.” — Abraham Lincoln your continued support and feedback. I also wanted to extend a sincere thank you to your families who have supported you as we worked our way through a busy PCS season. I hope you have an opportunity to find some Balance and spend some time with family and friends during this Holiday Season. — Philip Rizzo Vice President of Operations
Philip Rizzo is the Vice President of Operations for LMH and is responsible for the overall management and daily operations. As a former soldier and son of an officer, Philip is committed to serving the men, women and families LMH is privileged enough to call our residents.

marketing updates
Welcome, Andre Anderson, Resident Communication Associate We are excited to announce that Andre Anderson has joined the Marketing and Call Center team as our first Resident Communication Associate! Please join us in welcoming Andre. Andre will assist us with enhancing our customer service online and will work directly with our teams across the country to ensure residents and prospective residents alike receive the same great service online as they do with you in person! Andre brings over 10 years of customer service experience with the Home Depot and has worked directly with clients to ensure their experience is in line with the company’s core values. Andre has been in training with the Call Center and our Marketing team and over the next few weeks, we will be transitioning local social pages and business listings to him for monitoring and response. We will still need your teams to help in monitoring while we work on a new process for responses to inquiries but, we look forward to taking this responsibility off our local teams. Local teams are still expected to maintain and
post content on their pages and our team will handle inquiries, messages, and review responses. This position was made possible by your great feedback so, please continue to communicate your ideas and questions as we all strive to make our company better.

Lincoln Charities Lincoln Charities has been able to help 9 Associates in the amount of $64K given back. Right now, a little over 50% of our associates donate to Lincoln Charities by payroll deduction. We’d love to see that number come up, and we’re just asking for $1 to give each paycheck. Please see our Lincoln Charities page on the Knowledge Center for more information. As a reminder, anyone can give to Lincoln Charities through our online donation PayPal portal on our website, LincolnCharities.com. We just closed our Fall T-shirt campaign. Thank you for your support! 3

Kids Crew 2018! Our Community Service team had another amazing fun-filled summer Kids Crew! This series of summer events are exclusively for the residents of Lincoln Military Housing. These events are designed for KIDS but the entire family enjoyed participating. Kid’s Crew is NOT a drop off day camp; it is the place where kids take their parents out for summer fun! Lincoln Military Housing Fallon Clubhouse is Officially Open! The Fallon Clubhouse is officially open! After more than nine years of meetings and planning with various organizations, Dan Murphy, Regional Property Manager, was finally able to see his vision become a reality as the Fallon Team opened their new Clubhouse! The Clubhouse not only has some of the best amenities Lincoln has to offer but comes with multiple outdoor areas for all the families to enjoy including a bike and skateboard park, a splash pad, two dog parks, a tot lot, outdoor patio with multiple seating areas, and a grilling area. “Nine years ago I drew on paper what my vision was for a Clubhouse in Fallon and now I am seeing kids enjoying all the great amenities this clubhouse has to offer. It is very rewarding after everyone’s hard work. I am so grateful for all the Lincoln team members who supported this project to help get it to completion for our Fallon families to enjoy and just in time to finish summer,” said Dan Murphy. Steven Lavoie and Cindy Farless, both with Fallon since October 2007 when Lincoln took over, shared a special moment with kids at the Bike park when one said, “Thank you so much for doing this for us.” Mission moment complete!
