L’Osservatorio delle Fibre Liberane Bast Fibre Authority L’osservatorio delle Fibre Liberane by CELC è un nuovo strumento a disposizione delle aziende per verificare la composizione dei prodotti di lino nelle loro collezioni e garantisce la corretta etichettatura e conformità dei prodotti. Di fronte ad un consumatore sempre più informato ed esigente sull’origine e la composizione dei prodotti che consuma, di fronte alla presenza importante di un lino europeo, fibra verde del futuro che seduce l’industria della moda e della casa attraverso la sua responsabilità ecologica e la sua identità di prodotto a valore aggiunto, la CELC si è dotata, con l’Osservatorio delle Fibre Liberiane, di un dispositivo strategico. L’osservatorio costituisce la piattaforma comune ai laboratori e alle società di controllo Tessile e Abbigliamento che fanno da riferimento in materia di identificazione delle fibre liberiane di lino, canapa e ramie. Un’ iniziativa che parte dalla messa a punto e dalla standardizzazione di un protocollo di analisi della composizione, che consente alle aziende di verificare la composizione e la corretta etichettatura dei loro prodotti di lino. Grazie alla norma ISO-Working Draft 20706-1-, tutti i laboratori e società di controllo a livello mondiale avranno la possibilità di realizzare dei test di composizione dei prodotti di lino in maniera affidabile e sicura.
Bast Fiber Autority by CELC is a new tool for the brands to verify the compositional of linen products in their collections : the guarantee of product compliance and correct labelling. Faced with an informed and demanding consumer concerned about the origin and composition of the products they use; with the acknowledged role of European flax -and linen- as the green fibre of the future captivating the fashion and interiors industries with its eco-responsible cultivation and its innovative added value, CELC undertakes a strategic response in the creation of the Bast Fibre Authority This authority is a common platform for specialized Textile and Clothing laboratories, and the reference for the identification of bast fibres such as linen, hemp and ramie. An initiative underpinned by the development and standardization of a testing and analysis protocol, now enabling brands and retailers to verify the composition and the correct labelling of their linen products. This ISO standard - Working Draft 20706-1- will enable all laboratories and testing companies internationally to provide reliable and undisputed compositional testing for linen products.
