welcome to our conference Awareness, Support, Knowledge: thinking differently The North of England ASK Cancer Conference comes to Blackpool in September 2012 and brings together Health Professionals, Patients and Carers in debate. Amid the changing context, the conference poses challenging questions about the purpose of Awareness, Support and Knowledge. Inspired by leading national and international thinkers, the conference will explore how greater passion and understanding can be inspired in the system so that more patients and carers, and the people who work with them, make inspired choices, continue learning and aspire to world class performance. At a time when Health Professionals are under even more severe pressures, the conference will explore the opportunities for everyone involved to take hold of the agenda and achieve more for, and with, our communities. The debate will be inspired by powerful and diverse perspectives on the potential of all of us to think differently about what we can achieve and how we learn. The North of England ASK Cancer Conference 2012 will be an inspiring and memorable experience for everyone who attends. It will be a great conference in a great town and we look forward to welcoming you to Blackpool.
