Our Youth team continue to show what an impressive side they are, winning their 2 LEP Sunday Premier Division games by an aggregate of 15 goals to 2, and winning through to the Semi-Final of the Syndicate Cup with another 8-1 victory, with hot-shot striker leading the way in all 3 of those games, with a hat-trick in each, an incredible individual scoring feat. Unfortunately, in the middle of those games, our boys exited the LFA Youth Cup with a 2-3 Quarter Final defeat.

BJFF – On the Playing Field – October Review…
The 2011/2012 season is now taking shape, with all of our Competitive Squads taking part in League and Cup action. At the younger end of the spectrum, our Development Squad (ages 3 and 4) and Under 6’s continue to train once a week, on a Saturday morning, whilst our 4 x Under 7’s teams, and 4 x Under 8’s teams are enjoying their first taste of organised football, in a non-competitive environment, as part of the Poulton & District Primary League friendly fixture programme. We are unable to publish results of these matches, but our boys and girls are doing very well – keep it up. In the Under 9’s, our Blades are currently 2nd in the A Division, with a 100% record throughout the month – 8 wins out of 8, scoring an unbelievable 71 goals and conceding only 3. Our Predators and Vipers continue to do well in the B Division, with the eagerly anticipated games between the two teams finishing in 2 draws (2-2 and 3-3). The Predators enjoyed a further 3 wins during the month to lie 3rd, whilst our Vipers lie mid-table. At Under 10’s, our Blades had a mixed month, winning 3 and drawing 1 from 8 games, with performances improving and moving up the table, with a first 11-A-Side game proving an interesting change from the 7-A-Side mini-soccer format, whilst our Predators started and finished the month well, with 2 wins and a draw, and currently lie mid-table. In the Sunday action, our Under 14’s Girls have undergone a change of management during the month, and are adapting well to the new coaching style and

management set-up – thanks to all who have stepped in.
At Under 14’s, our boys top the table with a magnificent 7 out of 7 wins to start the season, and outstanding start. During the month, 3 leagues wins out of 3, with 22 goals for and only 3 against, continued our excellent start. If form continues, then we could be looking at our first silver-wear of the season and a promotion to the Domino division. The boys can concentrate on the league now, with a 3-4 defeat in the LFA Youth Cup to a strong Academy team. Keep up the good work everyone. At Under 15’s, our Whites had an outstanding month with 3 clean sheets out of 3, and with 15 goals scored a climb up the table to be on the shoulders of the 3 unbeaten teams. Our Blues, in the same division now, had 2 games postponed and with the 2 others ending in defeat are in need of a better November and their first points. Finally, our Under 16’s lie in 3rd place despite a month with only win (against 2 defeats) and a LFA Youth Cup exit.
