how to print
First, I’m going to assume you prefer a 2-page layout that you plan to 3-hole punch in a binder like below.
For Duplex Printers
Print this as a 2-sided document. You will need a printer that has the ability to duplex print, meaning that it can automatically print on each side in sequential order. This means page one [the cover] will be on the front and page 2 [this page you’re reading right now] will be on the back. For Single-Side Only Printers
Print only odd-numbered pages: 1, 3, 5, 7, etc. Refeed these originals into your printer blank page cartridge holder with the pages usually facing down and upside down but check your printer to be sure as it varies. And then print the even-numbered pages: 2, 4, 6, 8. This may take some trial and error and if all else fails, simply print the entire thing and manually face the pages in the right direction and use the blank pages on the back sides for notes.

my example of ways to cultivate magic
Everything you want is on the other side of negativity, being realistic and settling for less. If you know anyone currently on board with those old ways, run away - immediately, if not sooner. Š 2020 Pretty Pages | Lisa sometimes Latte - sometimes London
Step 1 | Choose Your One Thing Multitasking Our brains are designed to focus on one thing at a time, and bombarding them with information only slows them down.
Singletasking Starve your distractions FEED YOUR FOCUS
Negative Impact of Multitasking 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
Slows you down - i.e. it will take you longer to reach your destination while talking on the phone Causes you to make more mistakes - Task Switching creates a 40% loss in productivity Stresses you out - increased blood pressure, heart rate + cortisol levels Ruins your memory - brain health and function decreases Hurst your relationships - even having a cell phone nearby causes communication breakdowns + distrust Makes you fat - you ignore fullness cues until your TV show or movie is over KILLS YOUR CREATIVITY - the working memory requirements used by your brain during multitasking, kill your ability to daydream + eliminates any possibility of having an aha moment
I could keep going but honestly, #7 was what did it for me. A major lightbulb went off for me - Multitasking was stealing the MOST IMPORTANT brainpower skills I needed as a writer and redirecting them to worthless tasks that have nothing to do with finishing my next book. This reason alone is why I’ve switched things around in my life to focus on Singletasking + Batching All Activities

Step 3 | Timeblock out your week
Use Google Calendar or a Paper Based System to Block out all major tasks + activities to create a more realistic expectation of your workflow A plan is the WHAT. A schedule is the WHEN. It takes both a Plan + a Schedule to get things done.

Month: Finish entire first draft Week Week Week Week Week
1: Outline Complete 2: 20K Word Count 3: 20K Word Count 4: 20K Word Count 5: 20K Word Count

23
Step 5 | Create a Daily To Do List 1. 2. 3. 4.
Create a Daily To Do List You can start it the night before by adding in all that day’s tasks that were incomplete but still important Add more in the AM after reading your email, checking VM, etc Add more as the day goes on so that you can set that task aside while you complete your current task. In other words, the To Do List is there to ensure you don’t multitask 5. Rinse + repeat this sheet each day

book recommendation
YOUTUBE CHANNEL HIATUS Everything Cozy Escape Book Club related will stay on the New Lisa Latte Channel at https://rebrand.ly/lisalatte But I’m taking a break from making any other videos until I figure out whether I will provide writing advice on the old Lisa London channel or under a new brand name entirely. I need to get some clarity on what directly I want to go in for this and will be taking all of March + April to figure it out. Thanks for your patience!
THE ONE THING BY GARY KELLER I do a lot of different things and while I love doing all of them, there is something to be said about narrowing down your focus to just one thing. Everytime you say yes to one thing - you’re saying no to another. So hoping this book will help me to figure what that one thing is!
focus on one thing make it your priority and stick with it no matter what

NEW HABITS
example
Top 1-2 Habits
For 2020, I chose 2 new habits I wanted to incorporate into my day: 1. Write everyday 2. Plan everyday
How will you REMIND yourself to start this new habit • For writing, I hung an accountability calendar tracker on the fridge since I know for sure, I’ll visit that area without fail. • I give myself a gold star sticker for each day I perform my new habit • I time block it out on my Google Calendar • I add it to my daily to do list • I bought a new MacBook Air just for writing • I’ll switch to a daily planner
What action will you take to make it part of your ROUTINE • I’m going to start an accountability club to find others who also want to write everyday
What REWARDS will you see from adopting this new habit • Daily writing helps me to get more books published • Planning forces me to be more intentional

Everyone’s TBR List wil be different I read about 2-3 books per week but I’m single with no kids and work from home and I don’t cook so my free time is much different than someone who is a mom, someone with a long commute, or someone with a boyfriend or husband they need to cook for and clean up after. How much time do you really have for reading? So try to be realistic - having only 1 book on your monthly TBR list is perfectly acceptable! Or moving books from one month to the next because you didn’t make it through them is totally fine, as well! Books should be FUN and enjoyable, not stressful or make you feel guilty. To help inspire you, here’s my TBR for next month I split mine out by themes

book cozies I’ve caught up with every single book in the Molly Fitz Pet Whisperer series which means I’m now forced to go onto other books. I loved the February Tart of Darnkess series so much that I’m already halfway through book 2. It also reminded me that I do love the grittier mysteries so going back to Gina LaManna dn Janet Evnovich!

I was wrong about Cat Mom duties eating into my reading time If anything, Lucky has only helped to increase my reading time because he loves to sit on my lap, where the laptop is supposed to go for writing. So I’ll try to read while he’s doing that since I’m a total pushover and unable to push him off due to his extreme cuteness.

Cheesecake Stuffed Cupcakes I love pretzels and I love chocolate how have I never thought to put them together?! You’re totally going to LOVE these - double pinky swear promise.
Pretzel Ingredients
1 1/2 cups warm water 2 tablespoons light brown sugar 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet) 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted (1 stick) 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt or kosher salt 4 1/2 cups to 5 all-purpose flour 1 egg beaten course sea salt for sprinkling
Cookie Dough Ingredients
INSTRUCTIONS for Pretzel Dough
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 3 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Combine the water, sugar, yeast, and butter and mix with the dough hook until combined. Let sit for 5 minutes. 2. Add the salt and 4 1/2 cups flour to the mixture and mix on low speed until combined. 3. Increase the speed to medium and continue kneading until the dough is smooth and begins to pull away from the side of the bowl, about 3 to 4 minutes. If the dough appears too wet, add additional flour, 1 tablespoon at a time. Remove the dough from the bowl, place on a flat surface and knead into a ball with your hands. 4. Coat a large bowl with oil or cooking sprayl, add the dough and turn to coat with the oil. 5. Cover with a clean towel or plastic wrap and place in a warm spot until the dough doubles in size. Takes about 1 hour.
INSTRUCTIONS for Cookie Dough
1. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. 2. Beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add the eggs and beat well.

Smores Stuffed Cookies
3. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. 4. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. 5. Divide the pretzel dough into 8 equal balls and roll each out into a rectangle (about 11x3 inches). 6. Spread a little cookie dough along the length of each piece. 7. Starting with the opposite side, roll the dough up into a log, enclosing the toppings inside. 8. Pinch the seams together and then very gently roll the dough with your hands to form an even cylinder and fully enclose the filling. It is ok if some of the chocolate chips peak through, but try to avoid any large tears in the dough. 9. Take the two ends of each rope and form into a circle that is overlapped by a couple of inches of dough on either side, twist the ends and lay over the opposite side to form a pretzel shape. Press the ends under the pretzel to seal. 10. Grab a bowl and fill it with warm water and 2 teaspoons baking soda. 11. Dunk each pretzel in water and then place on a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet (no more than four pretzels per sheet). 12. Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash and season liberally with sea salt. 13. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until pretzels are very lightly golden and the cookies that have oozed out are golden. 14. Check after about 10 minutes, turn the pan and bake them another 6-8 minutes. 15. You do not want to over cook the pretzels. 16. Eat warm with a side of vanilla ice cream!
