Coven is a loud declaration responding to the blatantly oppressive assault on abortion rights across America. Driven by a call to action, we will test the limits of physical and mental endurance, creating dialogue around access dismantled and overturning a civil right. Coven is about being seen.
Time is fleeting. Everything is on the clock. But! There's a possibility of infinite cycles. Three visual artists including Shannon Cronin, Derek Ayres, and Christine Walinski offer artworks that consider this premise and the liberation that comes with recognizing the temporal for what it is: endless, dependable, inevitable change.
In this exhibit, artist and photographer, Phineas K. Gage pulls back the thin veil of reality to peer into Forgotten Lore Theatre's immersive world, Evermore. In his unique style, Gage's images and abstractions give voice to a dark and inexpressible reality devised from the interwoven imaginations of some of history's greatest literary minds.
