CREIGHTON LIVESTOCK MARKET
CREIGHTON, NEBRASKA
Welcome to our annual bull sale! We are honored to share with you the culmination of over 50 years of focused breeding with the goal of delivering exceptional value to your operations.
Since the beginning, our breeding program has been rooted in the pursuit of growth and calving ease—qualities that have stood the test of time as essential for profitability and peace of mind. Over the decades, we’ve carefully selected and developed genetics to meet the diverse needs of today’s cattle producers.
Our bulls are bred to excel in feed efficiency, helping you lower input costs while maximizing performance. Disposition is a cornerstone of our program, ensuring you can handle these animals with ease and confidence. Additionally, the hybrid vigor these bulls bring to your herd offers significant benefits in terms of fertility, growth, and overall herd health.
These bulls represent our commitment to quality, performance and your success. The animals you’ll see on sale day have had no creep feed and haven’t been pushed to gain on grain. We guarantee that you’ll be able to turn your yearling bull out to pasture and bring him home at the end of the season bigger, stronger and ready for winter.
We invite you to join us for the sale on Friday, February 21st. Cattleusa.com will be hosting the sale online and will be available for online bidding. If you have questions about online sale sign-up, do not hesitate to contact us or the sale barn. In addition, you’re welcome to stop by the farm anytime and preview the bulls and discuss your production needs. We appreciate your trust and interest in our program and look forward to continuing to serve your cattle operation.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for considering our program.

YEARLING CARE
We are firm believers in the use of yearling bulls and feel it is one of the best years of their lives. It is a time when they are easy to manage and their only concern is breeding cows.We have found that yearling bulls that are managed carefully during the second year of their lives not only do well, but they also perform better over time. Below are suggested guidelines for care of yearling bulls:
1. Upon delivery, keep yearling bulls seperate from older bulls and feed them a maintenance ration of 5-8 pounds per head of grain and free choice hay. Reduce the amount of grain gradually, so that the bulls are on straight hay or grass 2-4 weeks prior to the breeding season.
2. Where possible, try to limit the bulls to 45-60 days of pasture service for the first year. At this time, remove the bulls and put them in separate pastures with good, quality grass.
3. You will see the benefit of a little added cost and care by probably two or three additional years of service!
