Eqpd was created because of an Industrial Designer and human who cares about our planet, and sees an unsustainable trend in the creation and perception of manufactured goods, with a concern with our rapid consumption of products, how well those products are made. Jonathan Baker the Founder of Eqpd knows that resources are not endless, and believes that we should treat them that way. From the company’s inception, Eqpd has set out to be a model for change. Formally trained at the Rhode Island School of Design Jonathan Baker approaches all projects through the lens of industrial design. Having this foundation results in solutions that are fundamentally different than the corporate, copycat designs that currently exist.
