The Pure Glad Tidings According to Luwqá’
ַבּשֵּׂר לוּקַא Chapter 1 Purpose: acknowledge the Word ¶ Since indeed many have put their hand to arrange a narration about the matters which have been fully carried out among us, Just as they delivered them to us, those who had from the beginning been eyewitnesses and assistants of the Word, It seemed important also to me, having been following Him near from the first, to write to you all things thereafter accurately, O excellent friend of ’Elohíym (mighty Ones), 1.

In order that you might know well the reliability of the Word about Which you were indoctrinated. The Announcement of the Birth of Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser ¶ There was in the days of Heródes, the king of Yâhuwthâ´h, a certain priest named ZkharYâ´hu from the priestly quotidian rotation1 of ’AviyYâ´hu [the eighth week after Phâ´çech, the eleventh week of the year, days 18-25 of the Third month (May 24-30, 5 BC)], and his wife was from the daughters of ’Aharón, her name ’Eliyshéva`. And they were both righteous in the sight of the mighty Ones, walking by all the
Quotidian rotation of Lwiyyím priests’ service at the temple, as distributed to the families of the sons of ’Aharón (1 Chronicles 24: 1-19, 10). The lot of ’AviyYâ´hu was the eighth of 24, and these would serve a week twice a year. 1

commandments and righteous acts of Yâhwéh, blameless ones. Yet there was not a child to them, since ’Eliyshéva` was sterile, and both were advanced in their days. Date: 20th day of the Third month, Shabbâ´th But it came to pass during his priestly service within the fixed succession of his priestly quotidian rotation before Yâhwéh, According to the custom of the priestly service, it fell to him by lot to burn incense, when he had entered into the temple building of Yâ-hwéh. And all the multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of the incense.

And an envoy of Yâ-hwéh appeared to him, standing at the right of the altar of incense2. [Chanówkh 40] And seeing him, ZkharYâ´hu was agitated, and terror gripped him. But the envoy said to him: “Do not be terrified, ZkharYâ´hu, since your supplication has been heard, and your wife ’Eliyshéva` shall bear a son to you, and you shall call his name Yâhuwchânâ´n. And he shall be a joy to you and an exultation, and many shall rejoice at his birth, For he shall be great in the sight of Yâhwéh, and in no wise shall he drink wine or an intoxicant, and he shall be filled of 14.

the spirit of the Pure One even from the womb of his mother. And he shall return many of the sons of Yisrâ’Ë´l to Yâ-hwéh their mighty Ones. And he shall precede before Him, in the spirit and force of ’ËliyYâ´huw, to turn the hearts of the fathers against the children [Mal’âkhíy 4: 5-63] and the rebelliously unpersuadable, by the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready for Yâ-hwéh a people thoroughly furnished.”

And ZkharYâ´hu said to the envoy: “By what sign shall I absolutely know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in her days.”
Look here! I am sending to you ’ËliyYâ´huw the predicator before the Great and Dreadful Day of Yâ-hwéh is come: And he will return the heart of the fathers against children, and the heart of the children against fathers, lest I shall come and I will strike the earth with an extermination! 3

And responding, the envoy said to him: “I am Gavriy’Ë´l who stands in the sight of the Power [Chanówkh 40: 2], and I was sent forth to speak to you and to announce these glad tidings to you, And look! You shall be mute and not able to speak until the day in which these things shall take place, because you did not believe my words which shall be fulfilled in their season.” 20.

And the people were anticipating ZkharYâ´hu, and they wondered about his delaying within the temple building. Yet when he had come out, he was not able to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision within the temple building. And he was making signals to them, but continued dumb.

And it came to pass, as the days of his priestly service were fulfilled, he departed unto his house. Date: 5/3967-10/3967 ¶ Now after these days, ’Eliyshéva` his wife did conceive [5/14/3967 (7/18-19/5 BC)], and concealed herself five months, saying: 25.
“Thus4 has Yâ-hwéh done to me in the days in which He looked forward to removing my reproach among men.”

And entering before her, the envoy said: “Peace to you, O favored one! Yâ-hwéh immâ´kh (is with you): blessed one of mankind!” But she, seeing him, was agitated with alarm, and was deliberating on whatever this greeting might mean. And the envoy said to her: “Do not be terrified, Miryâ´m, for you have found favor with Yâ-hwéh, And look! You shall conceive in your womb and produce a Son, and you shall call His name “Yâhuwshúa`” (Yâ-hwéh is deliverance/wealth) 31.

This One shall be great, and He shall be called the Son of the Highest, and Yâhwéh ’Elohíym (the mighty Ones) shall give Him the throne of Dâwíth, His father, And He shall reign over the house of Ya`aqóv for the ages, and there shall not be an end of His reign.” 33.

But Miryâ´m said to the envoy: “How shall this be, since I do not know a man?” And responding, the envoy said to her: “The spirit of the Pure One shall be come upon you and the Force of the Highest to overshadow you, wherefore also the Pure One procreated shall be called the Son of the ’Ël (the Power). 9

Also, look at ’Eliyshéva` your relative5: she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this one is the sixth month for her who was called ‘sterile’! Because with Yâ-hwéh [He causes to be/exist] there shall not be anything impossible.”

And Miryâ´m said: “Look, I am the bondmaid of Yâ-hwéh; so be it to me according to your saying.” And the envoy departed from her. And Miryâ´m, rising up in those days, went into the hill-country with haste, unto a city of Yâhuwthâ´h,
Miryâ´m’s genealogy is documented in Luwqá’ to have been from the tribe of Yâhuwthâ´h, from Dâwíth and ’Eliyshéva` was a daughter of `Aharón. This relation is not to say they came from the same line of fathers, rather it is possibly one by mothers, e.g. one of their mothers being a sibling to the other’s father. But even if not so, spiritually they were sisters. It is wrong to take this one word to construe that Miryâ´m was from the tribe of Lëwíy. 5

And it came to pass as ’Eliyshéva` heard Miryâ´m’s greeting, the unborn infant jumped within her womb, and ’Eliyshéva` was filled of the spirit of the Pure One; And she exclaimed with a loud voice, and said: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the Fruit of your womb! [11: 27-28] And from what Source is this, that the mother of my Sovereign might come to me? For look! As the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the unborn infant within my womb jumped in exultation!

And Miryâ´m said: “My self magnifies Yâ-hwéh, And my spirit jumped for joy at Yâhwéh, my Deliverer; For He has looked upon the humility of His bondmaid, for look! From henceforth all generations will call me happy (’ashërâ´h7)! Because the One of Force has performed great things to me, and His name is pure, 47.

And His mercy is for those fearing it8 for generations of generations. [Luwqá’ 11: 28] He wrought power by His arm; He routed the haughty in their heart’s understanding! He took down rulers from their thrones and exalted the lowly; He filled the hungry with good things, but He sent away the rich empty. He helped Yisrâ’Ë´l, His servant, to remember His mercy Just as He spoke to our fathers: for ’Avrâhâ´m and for his Seed to the ages!” 51.

Date: 1/14/3968 (4/10-11/4 BC) Phâ´çech ¶ Now the time for ’Eliyshéva` was fulfilled that she should produce, and she bore a son. And the neighbors and her relatives heard that Yâ-hwéh was magnifying His mercy with her, and they rejoiced together with her. And it came to pass on the eighth day, they came to circumcise the infant, and they were going to call him after the name of his father, ZkharYâ´hu; And responding, his mother said: “No: he shall be called Yâhuwchânâ´n.” And they said to her:

“No one exists among your relatives who is called by this name.” So they spoke10 to his father as to what he might wish him to be called. And having asked for a writing tablet, he wrote, saying: wms Nnxwhy (Yâhuwchânâ´n is his name). And his mouth was opened up immediately with his tongue, and he spoke, blessing Yâ-hwéh! And they all wondered.11 And fear came upon all those who dwelled around them, and all these sayings were being talked of in the whole hill-country of Yâhuwthâ´h. And all those having heard placed it within their heart, saying:

And ZkharYâ´hu, his father, was filled of the spirit of the Pure One and foretold, saying: “Blessed be Yâ-hwéh, the mighty Ones of Yisrâ’Ë´l, because He has visited His people and shall work a Ransom for it, And shall raise up a horn of salvation for us within the house of Dâwíth, His servant, Just as He spoke through the mouth of His pure predicators since the ages began: Deliverance from our enemies and from the hand of all those who hate us, To work mercy with our fathers and to remember His pure covenant,

The oath which He swore before ’Avrâhâ´m our father to give us, That being rescued without fear from the hand of our enemies, we should serve Him in correctness and righteousness in His sight all the days of our life. And you, little boy, shall be called a predicator of the Highest, for you shall go before the face of Yâ-hwéh to prepare His ways; To give the knowledge of deliverance for His people by the release of their sins, Through the emotions of compassion of our mighty Ones, by which the Dawn from `Elyówn will come to see us, [Star of Bë´yth-Léchem, Títus 2: 11] 73.

Chapter 2 1.

The Birth of Yâhuwshúa` And it came to pass in those days, a decree went out from Kæ´sar Áugustus that all the Land12 [of Yisrâ’Ë´l] should be registered. This registration took place when first13 Quiriníus was governor of ’Arâ´m.
Mistranslated as “world” by Greeks, this registration of the Yâhuwthím resembles Hitler’s registration of the Jews (“Yehuwthím”) preceding his genocide of them. This is probably why Deeds of the Delegates 5:37 documents that Yehuwthâ´h, the Gliylíy instigated an insurrection at this time. 13 Quiriníus was governor of ’Arâ´m twice. 12

And all traveled, each to his own city to be registered, And Yâhuwçë´ph also went up from Gâlíyl from the city of Netsârówth unto Yâhuwthâ´h, into the city of Dâwíth, which is called Bë´yth-Léchem due to his being from the house and paternal descent of Dâwíth, To register himself together with Miryâ´m who was betrothed to him as wife, she being pregnant. Date: 7/15/3968 (First day of the Feast of Tabernacles) (10/6-7/4 BC) ¶ And it came to pass during the days they were there, the days for her bringing forth were fulfilled,14
If the registration had not been done, it is likely that Yâhuwshúa` would have been born in Yruwshâláim as it was time to go there for the Feast. 14

And she produced her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in strips of cloth, and laid Him within the manger, because there was not a place for them at the lodge. And shepherds were within the same region, camping in the fields, and keeping a watch by night over their flock; And look! An envoy of Yâ-hwéh stood by them, and the Honor of Yâ-hwéh illuminated around them, and they feared with great terror! And the envoy said to them: “Do not be terrified, for look! I announce glad tidings to you, a great joy, which shall be for all the people! Because today was born for you a Deliverer, Who is the Anointed of Yâhwéh, at the city of Dâwíth! 11.

And suddenly together with the envoy there was a multitude of the army of the heavens, praising Yâ-hwéh, and saying: 14.

“Honor to ’Ël `Elyówn, and on earth peace, and a good hope for the sons of ’Âthâ´m!”
And it came to pass, as the envoys departed from them into the heavens, the shepherds said to one another: “Let us journey, at once, unto Bë´ythLéchem and let us see this saying that has come to pass which Yâ-hwéh made known to us!” 21

And having seen this, they made known abroad about the saying that had been told to them about this Infant. And all those who heard wondered about the things that had been spoken by the shepherds to them. But Miryâ´m conserved all these sayings, considering them within her heart. And the shepherds returned, honoring and praising Yâ-hwéh for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was said to them. ¶ And when eight days were fulfilled for the circumcising, the Infant was called His name, Yâhuwshúa`, which was called by the envoy before He was conceived within the womb. And when the days for their cleansing were fulfilled according to the Law of Moshéh, they brought Him into Yruwshâláim to present Him to Yâ-hwéh, According to what has been written within the Law of Yâ-hwéh: “Qadésh (Dedicated) to Me is every one of the firstborn males: the firstling of every womb among the sons of Yisrâ’Ë´l, whether by ’Âthâ´m or in the animal, he is for Me.” [Exodus 13: 2] And to make a burnt-offering, according to that which has been said within the Law of Yâ-hwéh: 23

“But if she can not afford the price of the lamb, then she must bring two doves or two young pigeons: one for a burnt offering and one for a sin-offering so the priest will atone for her and she will be clean.” [Leviticus 12: 8] And look! There was a man in Yruwshâláim whose name was Shim`ówn; and this one was righteous and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Yisrâ’Ë´l, and the spirit of the Pure One was on him. And it had been revealed to him by the spirit of the Pure One that he should not see death before he might see the Anointed One of Yâ-hwéh. And he came within the spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the infant Yâhuwshúa` that they might do about Him according to what had become customary by the Law,

[Yshá`Yâhuw 7: 14] Even of you [Miryâ´m] also, a sword shall pierce through your self18, so that the reasonings of many hearts may be disclosed.” 35.

And when He was twelve years old, they went up unto Yruwshâláim according to the custom of the feast, And when the feast days had completed, as they returned, Yâhuwshúa`, the Boy, remained behind in Yruwshâláim, but Yâhuwçë´ph and His mother did not know; But having supposed Him to be in the caravan, they went a day’s journey, and sought Him among the relatives and among the acquaintances,
Phâ´çech had been celebrated on its proper date, the 14th, in Yruwshâláim until Arxélaos was removed as king of Yâhuwthâ´h in 6 AD and an aristocratic government of priests was set up in mid-7 AD When Yâhuwshúa` turned 12, the year was 8 AD, and He continued to keep it on the correct date, even after the Tsthuwqíym lost control of the celebration of the Phâ´çech to the Phrushíym. 19

And it came to pass after three days they found Him within the temple, sitting in the midst of the instructors, both hearing them and questioning them. And all the ones hearing Him were astounded at His understanding and His answers. And seeing Him, His kinsmen were thunderstruck, and His mother said to Him: “My Son, why have You done thus to us? Look, we were anguished, searching for You.” And He said to them: “Why is it that ye had to search for Me? Didn’t ye discern that it is necessary for Me to be in the things of My Father?” 29

Chapter 3 Yâhuwchânâ´n’s ministry leveled the earth to prepare for the Way ¶ Now in the fifteenth year of the government of Tibérius Kæ´sar, Póntius Pilátus being governor of Yâhuwthâ´h, and Heródes being the ruler of a fourth of the Land, of Gâlíyl; and Heródes20Phílippos his brother being the ruler of a 1.

And he went into all the region around the Yardë´n, proclaiming the immersion of repentance for release from sins, As it has been written within the scroll of the words of Yshá`Yâhuw the predicator, saying: “A voice of one calling is in the uninhabited land:

Every valley shall be raised up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall be made level, and the rugged as a plain! And the Honor of Yâ-hwéh will be revealed and all of flesh together will see, as the mouth of Yâ-hwéh has spoken!”” [Yshá`Yâhuw 40: 3-5] 5.

“Offspring of vipers, who forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath? Then produce fruits appropriate of repentance! And don’t start to say within yourselves:

‘’Avrâhâ´m ’âvíynuw (is our father)’, For I say to you that the mighty Ones is able from ’avë´ynow (His stones) to raise up Bnëy (sons of) ’Avrâhâ´m! But also the axe is already applied to the root of the trees – therefore every tree not producing good fruit is to be cut down and cast into fire!”
And the crowds asked him: “What then shall we do?” And answering, he says to them: “He who has two Kthóneth (shirts), let him give one over to the one who doesn’t have, and he who has meat, let him do similarly.” And the tax-collectors came also to be immersed, and they said to him: “Instructor, what shall we do?” And he said to them: 33

Message ignored by conscientious objectors And those who were soldiers asked him also, saying: “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them: “Do not oppress nor extort21 from anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.” But, as the people were in expectation and were all reasoning within their hearts about Yâhuwchânâ´n, whether or not he might be the Deliverer, Yâhuwchânâ´n answered all, saying: “…Indeed I immerse you in water unto repentance; but the One coming after

me is mightier than I, of whom I am not fit to loosen His sandal’s thong: He will immerse you into the Fire22 of23 the spirit of the Pure One [1 Qorinthíym 3: 13, Yshá`Yâhuw 4: 4, Márquwç 9: 49] Whose pitchfork is in His hand, so He will thoroughly purge His floor [1 Këph 4: 4], and He will gather His wheat into His granary; but the chaff He will burn up with fire not to be quenched!” [YirmYâ´huw 15: 6-8]

And then indeed imploring many other things, he announced the Glad Tidings to the people. But Heródes, the ruler of a fourth of the Land, being reproved by him concerning
Fire of Judgment which tests our works for what they are as per 1 Qorinthíym 3: 13 on the Day He comes. Those blameless and built on the Foundation which is Yâhuwshúa` will be saved. Those denying Him will be burned. 23 Not “or” or “and” as the Greek says here. This is corrected according to the `Ivríyth (Hebrew) found in MattithYâ´huw. 22

Note the italics. Scribes heeding the name-censoring tradition went as far as to replace His name with the masculine pronoun in many places in Greek scripture translations, and when the Aramaic has it in these places, we are italicizing it, to expose the shameful deeds of the scribes. 26

According to the Old Syriac. It is interesting to note that Yâhuwshúa` was here speaking out against anyone relying on racial bloodlines for approval, and the phrasing of this statement says that this foreigner was yet a member of the house of Yisrâ’Ë´l, as the widow was one from the promised Land also. This is a profound indictment of those who believe they are Yisrâ’Ë´l by bloodlines and remain apostate in their persuasion. 27

And He charged him: “Do not tell anyone; instead, having gone, show your self to the priest, and offer concerning your cleansing just as Moshéh ordered, for their testimony.” But the word about Him was spread even more, and great crowds were gathering to hear Him, and to be cured from their infirmities by Him.

cot into the midst of the crowd, in front of Yâhuwshúa`! And Yâhuwshúa`, seeing their persuasion, said to that man: “Your sins have been released from you.” And the scribes and the Phrushíym began to question it, saying: “Who is this One Who speaks scorn? Who is able to liberate from sins, except ’Elohíym (the mighty Ones30) alone?” [Yshá`Yâhuw 43: 25] But Yâhuwshúa`, recognizing by His spirit their questionings within themselves, said responding to them: “Why do ye question this within your hearts? Which is easier to say? 23.
In Márquwç 2: 7, they reasoned in their hearts that the One Who can do this is Yâhwéh. They did not use His name when speaking out loud as in this verse. If Yâ-hwéh had not been the name on their mind, saying ’Elohíym would be too generic to refer to only One, and Yâhuwshúa` gave this sign to prove He was Who they were thinking about. 30

And Lëwíy made a great reception for Him at his house, and there was a great multitude of tax collectors and others who were reclining to eat with them. And the Phrushíym and their scribes discontentedly complained in a low tone to His pupils, saying: “Why do ye eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” And Yâhuwshúa` responding, said to them:

Shabbâ´th. When he fell, he became subject to the Law of sin and death. Yâhuwshúa` did not carry ’Âthâ´m’s sin, being the Seed of Woman, born of a virgin. Thus also He was sovereign over the Shabbâ´th, and He never fell. We who are within Him are also free from the Law of sin and death, and sovereigns over the Shabbâ´th. 36 This means Yâhuwshúa` is the Sovereign, and is the One who determines what constitutes Shabbâ´th violations, AND that He is also the Sovereign King during the Shabbâ´th millennium, in which a Human will rule, Yâhuwshúa` qualifying for this also. 64

“Is it lawful to cure on the Shabbthóth?” [MattithYâ´huw 12: 10] But He discerned their reasonings, and said to the man who had the withered hand: “Come and stand in the midst of the assembly.” And having come, he stood. Then Yâhuwshúa` said to them: “I will ask you whether it is lawful on the Shabbthóth to do good, or to do evil? To save a life (soul), or to kill it?37 What man shall there be from you, who shall have one sheep, and if this should fall into a pit on the Shabbthóth, won’t grab hold of it and will raise it out? Then how more important is a human than a sheep? So, too, it is lawful to do virtue on the Shabbthóth.”
Yâhuwshúa` was not only asking this because they were going to plot His murder on that Shabbâ´th, but also because His murder by hanging on the gallows-cross was also committed on a high shabbâ´th, the true day of Phâ´çech! 37

The Aramaic has here “envy”, which also means zeal. The Greek has anoia here, which is here expressed as “unminding rage”, based on what the Strong’s says for #454 and #3563. It is interesting to compare “zeal” with “unminding rage”, as these have common meanings. 38

The Peshitta Aramaic translation incorrectly says “the son of”. 40 It is possible this traitor’s name was Yâhuwthâ´h, as the original version. However, this is post-Maccabean times when scribes were already censoring names starting in Yâ´huwto “Yehow-” or “Yehuw-”. It wouldn’t be distinguishable except in original unavailable scripture, so, considering this man’s nature, I assume he used the corrupted name. 39

Therefore here “hearing My Words and doing them” means heeding His names, Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`, and doing them means obeying Him. And a certain bondman of a captain of a hundred, who was esteemed by him, being ill, was about to die. And having heard about Yâhuwshúa`, he sent forth before him the elders of the “Yehuwthím” to beg Him that He, having come, might rescue his bondman. And they, having come before Yâhuwshúa`, implored Him diligently, saying: 1.

This centurion calls Yâhuwshúa` his Sovereign, accepting His authority. Then logically “Your” should be here, even contextually, because Who would give the order? Of course many earthly authorities influencing the scribes would wish to censor this. The centurion’s admission of His being King over the Kæ´sar who was over him is what amazed Yâhuwshúa`, not merely his feeling unworthy to be visited by his Sovereign. 42

Also one who had died was being carried out, an only-kin son of his mother, and she was a widow, and quite a large crowd of sons of the city [citizens] was together with her. Yâhuwshúa` on Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser And the envoys of Yâhuwchânâ´n having departed, He began to speak to the crowds about Yâhuwchânâ´n: “What did ye go out into the uninhabited land to look at? A zealot, shaken by the spirit? Instead, what did ye go out to see? A man dressed in soft garments? Look! Those who are in splendid and luxurious 25.

“See! I am sending My envoy and he will prepare The Way before Me… [and suddenly the Sovereign, Whom ye are seeking, will come to His temple, even the Envoy of the covenant that ye are desiring, look, He is coming,” says Yâ-hwéh of Hosts:]” [Mal’âkhíy 3: 1] 28.
For this I say to you: no one is a greater predicator among women-born than Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser! Yet the 85

least one within the Kingdom of Yâhwéh is greater than he. Yet from the days of Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser even until now, the kingship of Yâ-hwéh is being seized, and it is plundered!44 [Dâ´niyyË´’l 9: 26] For of all this foretold Predicators and the Law, even concerning45 Yâhuwchânâ´n. And if ye are willing to accept it, he is ’ËliyYâ´huw, who is yet to come. The one having ears to understand, let him heed it. [MattithYâ´huw 11: 12-15] And all the people who did heed him, even the tax collectors, regarded Yâhwéh to be just, when they were immersed with the immersion of Yâhuwchânâ´n.

And that Seed which fell among the thorns, these are those who having heard the Word of Yâ-hwéh, [MattithYâ´huw 13: 22], go forth and are completely strangled by the distractions, and the lust for the delusion of Fortune (God)48 [MattithYâ´huw 13: 22], and the sensual pleasures of life, so they do not bring fruit to maturity. And that Seed that fell in the virtuous earth, these are they who, having heard the Word and understand [MattithYâ´huw 13: 23] and accept it [Márquwç 4: 20], firmly retain it in a 14.

In the MattithYâ´huw reference, the Greek translation has “deceit of riches”, and translations from the `Ivríyth (Hebrew) have it saying “…the lust for the false Mammon”. Mammon is the Aramaic name of Fortune, the false ’elohíym whose name is “God” in `Ivríyth (Hebrew) and whose followers are condemned in Yshá`Yâhuw 65:11-16. And He said to her: “Have courage, My daughter, your persuasion has delivered you. Go in peace.” And as He was yet speaking, one comes from the house of the chief of the assembly, saying to Him: “Your daughter has died. Don’t bother the Instructor.”

But Yâhuwshúa`, having heard, responded to the father of the girl, saying: “Do not fear; only believe, and she shall be restored.” And when He had entered into the house, Yâhuwshúa` did not permit anyone to enter except Shim`ówn Këph, and Ya`aqóv, and Yâhuwchânâ´n, and the father and the mother. And they all were weeping and beating their breast in grief about her. But Yâhuwshúa` said: “Do not weep; she is not dead, rather, she sleeps.53” But they laughed at Him, discerning that she was dead.
Yâhuwshúa` is teaching us also the proper reaction to deaths of loved ones. The statement that the dead sleep is noticeably made only in scripture about believers, though these also may and do awaken e.g. Shmuw’Ë´l, and the fifth seal events. 53

Even Heródes, the ruler of a fourth part of the Land, heard of all the things being done by His hand and was thoroughly perplexed, because it was said by some that Yâhuwchânâ´n has been raised from among the dead, And by some that ’ËliyYâ´huw had appeared, and by others that a predicator of the ancients had arisen. But Heródes said: “Yâhuwchânâ´n I beheaded, but Who is this One about Whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see Him. And the delegates, having returned, reported to Him everything they had done. The kind of fast that Yâ-hwéh has chosen is what He was practicing – not physical selfdenial, but spiritual self-denial, ignoring ones’ natural emotional reactions and correcting injustices, sharing food with the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked, and not to turn away from one’s kin. 55

When supplemented with the phrase in MattithYâ´huw, it is apparent this is a derivation of Yshá`Yâhuw 42:1, and that Yâhuwshúa` is the same Chosen (Elect) One referred to repeatedly in the Scroll of Chanówkh. Since the Father calls Yâhuwshúa` His Beloved at His immersion, it is doubtful He would repeat Himself, rather that He would make His identity more clear. I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves! Yâhuwshúa`, the Word, is our Lamp [Psalms 119: 10571] No one having lit a Lamp sets it in a hidden place, not under a bushel; rather one sets It upon the lampstand, in order that those who enter in may see the Light. 33.

The Word of Yâ-hwéh is our Lamp, and the source of spiritual vision (eye) of the body of believers, as well as each individual. Examine ZkharYâ´hu chapter 5 which shows that the Wickedness is within the EYE of all the Land, because their scriptures (the flying scroll) were erased and altered. Those with a corrupt lamp are still in great darkness. 73 The `Ivríyth (Hebrew) word here is based on Strong’s #8549 which means entire, integrity, undefiled. For on the Mountain of Tsiyyówn and in Yruwshâláim shall the escaped remnant be; just as Yâ-hwéh said, even among the survivors whom Yâ-hwéh is calling.” 85 “My Sovereign” is a translation of Kúrie in Greek, though sometimes it is used to substitute “Yâ-hwéh”, here it likely is not, since in that Day, he who shall have called on the name of Yâ-hwéh shall be delivered. It is also possible that these shut-out ones are saying “Lord, Lord!” That meaning Bá`al in `Ivríyth (Hebrew), that certainly would not work. 84

Go ye away from Me, all those who are workers of the Lie87! There shall be there the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth, when ye see ’Avrâhâ´m and Yitschâ´q and Ya`aqóv and all the predicators within the 28.
“…recognize the origin ye are from” means Yâ-hwéh does not accept, condone, or endorse the Lie on which these lost sheep have founded themselves. Establishment translations suggest an impossibility, that He does not know where they come from. In verse 25 it is a question, which gives them a chance to profess the Truth, but they cannot as they forgot His name. 87 In the Peshitta Aramaic translation, the word here corresponds to the `Ivríyth (Hebrew) shéqer, meaning the Lie, the anointed falsifier and all false elohíym posing as Yâ-hwéh. The `Ivríyth (Hebrew) in MattithYâ´huw has ’´wen, which is translated “lawlessness”. Both are accurate, perhaps Yâhuwshúa` said both, as these are separate speeches He gave. 86

Fruitless Old Yruwshâláim (Judaism) cursed like the fig tree to be divorced, for not recognizing His being Yâ-hwéh ¶ On the same day, certain Phrushíym approached Him, saying to Him: “Go and get out of here, because Heródes wishes to kill You off!”
This is part of the quote He says He will say to those who are built on the wrong foundation. At the 7th trumpet when these name-denying Christians resurrect, however, they will be granted a pure language, and they will remember this warning, and they will turn to Yâ-hwéh and be cured. 88

Chapter 14 Yâhuwshúa` teaches in a chief Phârushíy’s house ¶ And it came to pass at His having gone into a house of one of the chiefs of the 1.
The house of tribal Yâhuwthâ´h, having rejected Yâ-hwéh, is now divorced and the Phrushíym became their leaders by default. This is reflected in their calling their religious leaders “Rabbi”. Adulterous Yisrâ’Ë´l (Hellenist Christianity) will also be forsaken when they all reject Him before the 6th seal judgment. 90 The daleth clause used in the Peshitta Aramaic translation here could also theoretically be translated “that”, however the context logically indicates that “because” is what was meant. The reason for the divorce from the “Yehuwthím” is because they refuse to discern Who He is, the Anointed, Who comes by the name of Yâ-hwéh. Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`. Whenever one of them does discern Him and accepts Who He is, He ceases to be from that divorced house, and becomes part of the House of Yâ-hwéh as seen in Psalms 118: 26. 89

Some consider this merely a clever comeback. There is more to it than that. Note that Yâ-hwéh cannot lie, and the cash or gold or silver which bears the inscriptions of the organization which puts it into circulation actually belongs to that organization. This was so, even later with gold certificates, and with Federal Reserve paper. Thus the concept of ownership of this currency is invalid and when we are gathered into His Kingdom, we leave that behind. 110

The Tsthuwqíym’ strategy was to, by means of this ridiculous hypothetical construct, to ridicule the resurrection teaching, ignorantly threatening to barge into secrets of the Shabbâ´th Millennium which is fodder for debate among the carnal. The information they requested was obsolete to their ends, except to ensnare Yâhuwshúa` in debate and then look good to the onlooking public when they pulled out, ridiculing resurrection. 113 Per the Old Syriac translation. 112

The Old Syriac translation says this instead of Pardë´ç, which means orchard-park, and does refer to this. It is the best part of Sh’ówl presently. Those unable to accept this argue that He meant that He said it that day, and that some other time he would be in Paradise with Him, to accommodate their doctrine of no life until resurrection.
