WELCOME FROM YOUR HEAD OF SCHOOL Dear Lamplighter Families and Guests, Each year, the Auction gives us a reason to come together in support of our School and have some fun. This exciting event will be held on campus again this year, in celebration of Lamplighter’s 65th anniversary with the theme, Lamplighter Bandstand. We will celebrate the decade that brought us American Bandstand with Dick Clark and The Lamplighter School…the 1950s! A special thank you to our Auction Chairs Joe Urso, Caroline Belanger, Lindsey Beran, Bincy Bizzell, David Guedry, Melanie Jabbour, and Amy Puig. Together, with a team of talented volunteers, they have worked countless hours to ensure the Auction’s success. I am deeply grateful to these parents and our team of volunteers for their time and talent. They have spent this school year dedicated to making sure the Auction is an event for all families to enjoy. Lamplighter is a community of dedicated teachers, staff, and exceptional parents who all work together to enrich our children’s lives. It is a place of innovation and inspiration. Thank you in advance for adding your bid in support of our great School. Enjoy the evening!

Carpool Fast Pass for 2019-2020
FAST PASS
Bypass the carpool line for every school day pick-up during the 2019-2020 school year! Raffle tickets are $50 each or 5 for $200. Tickets will be available at the Auction, Saturday, February 9, 2019, or you can purchase online at www.thelamplighterschool.org/auction. The drawing will take place at the Lamplighter Bandstand Auction on February 9, 2019. You DO NOT need to be present to win!
R A F F L E G U I D EL I N E S The IRS considers the RAFFLE to be similar to a lottery or sweepstakes. Unlike a charitable donation, the capital campaign, or the Lamplighter Fund – in which there is generally charitable intent – PURCHASING A TICKET is akin to gambling and, hence, it is not a charitable gift despite the “charitable” overtones of the Auction event. No charitable deduction is allowed when a ticket is purchased. —— Picture ID is required of the winner. —— All taxes, fees, insurance, and like charges associated with the receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and must be satisfied BEFORE taking possession of the prize. —— A Raffle winner may decline a prize but the individual must do so at the time of announcement. —— Lamplighter or any of its sponsors are not responsible for any damages or personal claims. —— Additional terms and conditions may apply.

HEADS OR TAILS To kick us into gear, the Live Auction will start with a fab game of “Heads or Tails.” Buy your Blinky Rings when you check in on Auction night for only $25 each. Limit four per person. The winner will take home a beautiful 14-karat white gold diamond pendant necklace featuring one carat of round brilliant diamonds from Diamonds Direct. Here’s how you play: before the Live Auction starts, our Auctioneer will ask everyone who has purchased a Blinky Ring to come out on the dance floor to start the game. The Auctioneer will flip a coin and everyone will need to predict whether it will fall “Heads or Tails.” You will make your prediction public by placing your hands on your head or your tail. If you are correct, you will keep standing. But if you are wrong, you are out and must sit down. If, however, you purchased more than one ring, you have an extra chance. So, you just remove one of your rings and keep playing. The last person standing wins!

The CoolSculpting® procedure is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after a submental area treatment. Rare side effects may also occur. The CoolSculpting® procedure is not for everyone. You should not have the CoolSculpting® procedure if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria. The CoolSculpting® procedure is not a treatment for obesity. Ask your doctor if CoolSculpting® is right for you.
