As I sit down to write this welcome letter, I am overwhelmed with exactly where to go with the topic… passion. This very powerful word has so many different meanings, depending on so many different factors; the person, the situation, the life experiences. It is also used to describe a myriad of emotions, thoughts, feelings and beliefs. As simple as it seems, in reality passion is quite complex. There are many definitions for passion, but they all lead back to a fundamental “powerful, compelling feeling or emotion.” This emotion drives us to think and act in a specific way; but it also defines us, both personally and professionally. If I asked you, “What are you passionate about?” you would begin to rattle off a list of people, things, thoughts, ideals, etc. But the bigger question I have is, “Do you have passion in your life?” Do you have a powerful, compelling emotion towards life in general? An emotion that emits from you like an energy, or an aura? True PASSION. When we harness within ourselves a passion for life, we amplify our impact on everyone and everything around us. Sort of like having the golden touch. When you are passionate about life, that powerful energy touches everything in your life. Our business is all about having a positive impact on the way people look and feel. There is no more powerful job in the world. Our clients come to us and place the trust of their health, their beauty and their wellness in our hands. They depend on us to understand their needs, and to provide them with the products and treatments that will guarantee results. We can only accomplish this task if we are committed to what we do, if we love what we do, and if we are passionate about what we do. That passion must come from within. It must exude from who you are. It must touch everything in your life in order to touch others. Are you passionate? Do you have that powerful compelling feeling that YOU can make a difference? …That is true passion. Take this weekend to reflect on all of the opportunities around you that have come together to build on your passion, and to act as tools to take you to the next level of accomplishing the greatest job in the world…helping others look and feel their best!
