#Phillycongress20 We are so grateful to be able to host and speak at ICES this year! We are confident that the power of us joining together to share our journeys as estheticians has brought us to this place and we believe anyone can be right where we are with a clear vision, hard work, passion and true authenticity. We met seven years ago working together at Kasey’s spa. Years later, we both had our own brick and mortar studios and booming businesses. We both took chances on each other and our friendship continued to grow. While working both together and on our individual businesses, we realized the beauty industry was missing a voice that spoke of what we had so freely shared with one another; tips, tricks, advice and struggles. Not once did we ever hold back from one another. We always openly gave insight and genuinely wanted the other to succeed. What we shared with each other, we knew others were needing and it motivated us to open up on our social media platforms, get out from behind our treatment tables and show our faces which in turn grew a massive community of estheticians, lash artists and beauty professionals that wanted to do the same for their business. A little over a year ago, we created the Beauty Biz BFFs podcast to motivate, inspire and connect with like-minded men and women like you who are reading this letter. This podcast came from a fire within us to do more and reach more people. Being asked to host and speak at this show has been something we have both hoped for and worked hard for! We’re proud of you for showing up because we believe it’s so important to continue your education through networking, courses and tradeshows. We know how much dedication and time it takes to attend these events and we hope you are able to soak in all the information you can and take it back with you into your treatment room.
