YMCA OF LINCOLN HOSTS ANNUAL GIVING TREE
Each year, the YMCA of Lincoln rallies together to collect and donate holiday gifts to students at Elliott and Pershing Elementary. In total, the YMCA Giving Tree program brings joy to over 700 children, and it takes effort from our entire community to make it possible. “Despite the daily challenges we all are facing, the holiday season remains a time of joy and generosity,” shared Renee Yost, President & CEO of the Lincoln YMCA. “Our YMCA members and the community continue to make a difference in the lives of so many students by supporting this annual effort. It’s truly one of the most special events we host as an organization.”
How to Participate
• Now through December 4, select an ornament off one of the trees in any YMCA of Lincoln branch.
• Purchase an age-appropriate give for $25 or under.
• Return the UNWRAPPED gift(s) to the Front Desk at any Lincoln Y location or the YMCA Administrative Office by Wednesday, December 4.

The YMCA of Lincoln leads the schools’ CLC program in providing after school care and summer programming to keep students safe, learning, and active while supporting their families. This program has helped thousands of students improve academically and provided enriching experiences that they may not have had otherwise.

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s auction our most successful yet! With over $18,000 raised, all proceeds allow us to continue powering critical programs that benefit the community through our Open Doors Financial Assistance program.
WINTER COAT DRIVE
This year, our YMCA collected over 2,000 coats benefitting People’s City Mission! We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who donated to this year’s Winter Coat Drive. Coats will be distributed to guests of the People’s City Mission on Friday, November 8.

Giving Tuesday
Beginning at 5:00am on Tuesday, December 3, YMCA staff and members will be swimming laps in the pool or on a bike, treadmill, or elliptical in the lobby until we raise $5,000 at each branch for the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign.
