Research As this was a quick one day brief research had to be quick and productive. Research for the first brief was a reflection of the music, distorted and glitched, but constant and on going. Research into brief two consisted of listening to the bands current music and looking at their current artwork to try gage an idea of the visual appearance the band works towards. This was found to be quite random, bold and colourful, with the use of patterns or repetitiveness.

Brief 1 The brief was to create a vinyl cover for the Evian Christ remix of Duga-3. While listening to the remix we decided that the sound was constantly changing, but consistent in the overall sound. With this we decided on a glitched design as it represented continuous but disrupted.

Brief 2 The brief was to create an A3 poster for a gig for the band OdonisOdonis. The music was quite upbeat and playful, but random in the beat at the same time. With this we decided on a bright and colourful poster, which was simple and abstract.

Brief 3 The brief was to create a piece of design, just for the creativity and point of doing it. At the time I was preparing for a brief around hand drawn type, so decided to use this as an opportunity to try it out and see how confident I was in the skill at that point in time.
