NBA Exhibition: The Top 10 Players of All Time The Exhibition
‘The Top 10 Players of All Time’ is an exhibition to celebrate 10 of the finest basketball players to ever play in the NBA. This exhibition is built up on the idea of celebrating 10 outstanding players, past and present, who have furthered the sport, amassed huge followings and been incredible players through their time on the courts. The exhibition will show everything about these ten players, from photographs to uniforms and interviews given while at their prime. It is a collection of what truly makes these players recognised as the best.
Background
The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the pre-eminent men’s professional basketball league in North America, and is widely considered to be the premier men’s professional basketball league in the world. On August 3rd 2014, it marks the 65th anniversary of when the NBA started with its namesake, and changed the face of basketball forever. To mark this momentous occasion, this exhibition is a beacon representing the true success of what has been achieved through the NBA and the stars who have been made.
Deliverables
The main focus for this exhibition has been on the Exhibition book, which is a book that can be bought at the gift shop after visiting the exhibition. Also focussed on is the branding and identity for the exhibition, corporate and public. As well as this there is a wide range of promotional material, printed and web-based.

Logo
The exhibition has one logo, but two different appearances. The logo is based on the shape of a basketball, displaying this in its simplest form. The two difference appearances are to make maximum impact on the products, but also give a wide variety of options in their use and placement on a page. The official logo is the one above. This is the one that should be used on all corporate documents, such as letterheads. The logo variations can be used throughout branding.
Colour
Throughout the entirety of this exhibition there are four colours to be used. These colours are chosen as they are representative of the NBA and their colour scheme. NBA has a rich history and is a fundamental part of the exhibition, so a way of representing them and appreciating their work for the basketball industry, their colours must be used.

Branding/Corporate Identity
The branding is designed in a recognisable and striking way, so there is no mistake as to what it is. The branding uses the colours of the NBA. As well as this, when necessary the sponsorship logos of the NBA & Hall Of Fame are used. The corporate identity consists of six elements.
