The regulation that is applied to rural accommodation is: DECRETO 20/2002, de 29 de enero, de Turismo en el Medio Rural y Turismo Activo.

In this chart we are going to check the categories in which the different rural establishment are separated in some Autonomous Communities

PECULIARITIES OF RURAL ESTABLISHMENTS

Breakfast: The breakfast it completely different in a rural establishment in comparison with a city hotel. In the rural one is more casual than in the other and it may even been given by the director of the establishment. Internet: It may be inexistent in some of the establishments. Eco-friendly policy: They are not changind towels as many as in other hotels, they may use solar panels.... They are taking care more exahustively than hotels because they want to care the environment where they are located.

Food: Most of them have their own orchard where they grow their food. Animals: they can be around freely and you can even take yours. Activities: they sometimes offer activities like riding horses, riding bikes, hiking, camping...

ALPUJARRA'S ARCHITECTURE

The Alpujarra is made of small white villages, characterized by its architecture, seen only in Spain. Most of them conserve its traditional physiognomy, and most of the houses are similar to the berber construction of Magreb mountains.

Magreb A typical characteristic of the architecture alpujarreĂąa is the chimneys, topped with a hat formed by a laja and a castigadera stone.

The houses are built with stone, mud, slate and wood of chestnut tree. Its style adapts to the mountainous surroundings, following its geographic features. The houses have a staggered form, with a Southern or to opened spaces orientation to take advantage of the good weather.

There is a common structure at tjhese villages called 'tinao', which is shown in this photo. There are many villages that compose the Alpujarra.

All these certifications are used in Rural Establishments., these are the most common, byt there can be other certifications such as private labels.

DIFFICULTIES FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IN RURAL AREA AND THE SOLUTIONS Accesibility is the the most common difficultiy in rural area

The solution is building an accesible pathway. They are more used day by day.

There are different rural houses adapted, for example, there are 10 at Alicante.

There are activities such as rafting, by the Rafting of Sella's River, and it is also adapted to disabled people.

Activities related with environmental education, such us how to recycle, how to take care of different animals.

Horticulture, agro-alimentary and crafy workshops, livestock and domestic animals care

Active tourism: Mountain bike, canoeing, climbing, horse riding routes, hiking
