Suddenly, Maya heard voices from the surface She told the dolphins to jump as high as they’d dare So her best friends could spot them in the air

From the salmon and trout to the bottlenose dolphins even her friends arrived on their surfboards afloat Maya smiled, it was fun being mermaid for a day but now it was time to be on her way
cyril the seahorse led her back to the shore And there her legs appeared once more Maya waved goodbye to her new undersea friends As the colors of sunset brought the day to an end.
