PARK STEELS TURN TO MANCHESTER UNITED PROSPECT
FOLLOWING on from their third postponement of the week, Stocksbridge Park Steels return to league action on Saturday against Newcastle Town at the Look Local Stadium, hoping to carry on their strong start to the season. Thankfully, the missed games have not affected Steels’ position in the league and they sit only five points off the top.
One disappointment for Steels is the injury setback suffered by keeper Ed Hall who has been in superb form this season. The club hope to see him back in action soon. But the management team have done well to secure the loan of Manchester United keeper Jacob Carney. Jacob is no stranger to the Steels having spent the start of the season at Bracken
Moor, putting in some excellent performances as part of his development. Jacob is still eligible to play in the under-18 team for Manchester United and the academy staff are pleased for him to experience adult football at a good standard to help in his advancement through the age groups at Old Trafford. Kick off on Saturday is at 3pm .
