Coeur d’Alene River: Flowing gently from
the headwaters in the Coeur d’Alene Mountains, the Cd’A River is home water to all our guides, with ample dry fly fishing for Westslope Cutthroat trout. This river affords anglers the opportunity to fish by either drift boat or by wading. Full days or half, float or wade/walk, your choice.
St. Joe River: From headwaters in the
Bitterroot mountains, this shadowy freestone canyon river is one of the best fly fishing rivers Idaho has to offer. Anglers who choose this wade/walk adventure will be guided in wading techniques, stream reading, locating fish and using currents to their advantage. Allow a full day for St. Joe trips. USFS Permit.
Clark Fork River: The Clark Fork is one of
our most popular adventures. Located 90 miles from Coeur d’Alene, the Clark Fork was made for drift boat fishing, and our guides will position the drift boat just outside of the feeding lane, providing anglers an excellent opportunity to cast to rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout, averaging 12-20”. Full day only.
Hayden Lake: Located 5 miles NE of Coeur
d’Alene, we hold the exclusive guide permits for Hayden Lake. This destination is very popular among pike and smallmouth Bass anglers. If you haven’t tried Pike or Bass on the fly, we highly recommend it. Hayden also holds some of the largest Crappie known to fly anglers. Great for half day trips.

Grande Ronde: This Snake River tributary rises
out of Oregon’s Blue Mountains then runs north and east across the Columbia Plateau, entering southeast Washington where it empties into the Snake. Our guides fish this water for steelhead in the early spring and fall, and turn to smallmouth in spring and summer. Scenery is beautiful and the fishing excellent. Sightings of mule deer, elk and bighorn sheep are not uncommon. Full day only.
Methow River: The Methow
(pronounced met-how) in northeastern Washington State starts from the watershed off the east slope of the northern Cascades down through the Methow Valley. This amazingly resilient freestone river tumbles down to the natural fish habitat for valley floor to create a a variety of species, including steelhead. What better way to combat winter blues than to wet your line and experience first class fly fishing. Full day only.
Upper Columbia River: The upper portion of the mighty Columbia River, called Jurassic River by some, is home to monster Rainbow trout, which average 15-22”, though larger ones are not unusual. A well-kept secret, fishing the Upper Columbia in northeastern Washington State provides prime opportunities year round to catch wild trout on the fly. Full day only.
All Trips Include: All trips include transportation and a licensed local guide. Full day trips also include a picnic-style lunch. We will be happy to talk with you and find the perfect adventure to suit your needs. We have over 20 years guiding experience on the St. Joe, Coeur d’Alene and Clark Fork rivers.
