Ever wish your baby could talk?
N
ow, thanks to a local mum, perhaps they can. In a manner of speaking. Mum-of-two Bernadette, is now running TinyTalk baby signing classes in Ashby de-laZouch and Overseal, South Derbyshire, with a new class starting in Swadlincote. She’s keen to see lots of mums and dads coming along with their babies. “I first went to TinyTalk classes myself when my son William was four months old and I really enjoyed them,” says Bernadette. “I loved getting to know the signs and nursery rhymes and it was very nice to make friends with other mums who went along. The hot drink and biscuit was also very welcome!” Little ones can benefit from signing from as young as six months right up to toddlerhood, and parents who come to classes say it has really helped them communicate and bond with their babies. 14
