elcome to the Spring issue and the official guide to the Bump to Five Show! The 4th Bump to Five Show will be held on Saturday 20th April at the Derbyshire County Cricket Ground. This new central location has one level access, great parking & plenty of space. We are very excited about the long list of exhibitors and there will be plenty to do inside and out! We are sure that this will be our best show yet! So put the date into your diary and join us for a day of fun! We will be working hard to raise money at the show for this year’s chosen charity- TOFS. Pre-register for FREE entry to the show. Full details are on page 4. What a lovely and exciting time of the year. There are plenty of activities for the Easter holidays and the May/June half term. There is also the chance to win a family ticket to Happy Hens. Don’t forget Father’s Day on Sunday 16th June! Happy Easter

Supporting our chosen charity TOFS with Raffle, Tombola & 50% of the door entry fee...

OFS is delighted to have been chosen as the official charity on the day of the Bump to five show. TOFS is a national charity supporting the families of children & adults born with rare congenital conditions, Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula &/or Oesophageal Atresia (TOF/OA). Babies born with TOF/OA require immediate corrective surgery to enable them to swallow. Sometimes these conditions are diagnosed ante-natally, but often they aren’t, & parents have to cope with the trauma of their new-born baby facing major surgery within hours or weeks after birth. Many TOF/OA children will continue to have on-going problems throughout childhood & may require repeated surgical intervention. TOFS offers (non-medical) information & support to parents & carers & works towards increasing understanding of the condition within Health, Social & Educational services. Their office, based on the border of Derby & Nottingham provides support in the form of leaflets, resources, Newsletters, a Community Forum 12
(www.tofs.org.uk) & Facebook page, putting parents in touch with one another for mutual support, providing TLCs, (TOFS local contacts) & 24-hour telephone support service. TOFS is run by parent volunteers who man the phones, organise parties & surgeon presentations & conferences.

H
ello. My name is Laurie and I am Mum to my beautiful little girl Mia, the inspiration and reason why I came to discover and experience the wonders of Baby Yoga for myself back in 2010. I was inspired to become a Baby Yoga teacher after attending Birthlight classes. The sessions were a revelation to me and I can’t express enough how much we both benefited from the experience. Mia would delight in the songs, moves and stretches and always fell asleep at the end of each class giving me a precious moment of peace to relax and enjoy a hot cup of tea and some adult conversation with other mums. To just ‘be’ with my baby in such a calming and supportive environment meant the world to me at the time and as a result I established Little Sage Yoga. Baby Yoga has made a real difference to me. It has helped with my posture, my ability to stay calm and my confidence with Mia and continues to be an integral part of our daily life. I now offer 6 week baby yoga courses in
Belper and West Hallam which are suitable for babies from 12 weeks old all the way through to walking and beyond. There are also toddler sessions suitable from 18 months up to 5 years.
