utumn is certainly a season of change! Over the last few months we have waved goodbye to Sarah, our editor for the last year who has taken a job role. We wish her all the very best and thank her for all her hard work over the last year. We can’t wait to introduce you to our new Nottingham editor. orever Stars is delighted to be chosen as charity partner for this year’s East Midlands Baby Show which is taking place at the Trent Vineyard Conference Centre. Forever Stars was set up in January 2014 following the stillbirth of Michelle and Richard Daniels’ daughter Emily, on December 19th 2013. The aim of the charity is to raise £100k in order to set up and resource a bereavement suite at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. When Michelle and Richard lost their daughter, they were taken back on to the maternity ward to recover and begin the grieving process. Whilst the care was fantastic from all the QMC midwifery team, the room Michelle was given was both stark, clinical and geared up to looking after a new born healthy baby with items like breast feeding advice, an empty cot, baby clothes and most noticeably surrounded by parents going through the joy of having a new baby in their lives. The support of the East Midlands Baby Show, will go a long way to help raise awareness of the

charity as well as much needed funds to help reach our goal. Richard Daniels, Co-Founder and Chair of Trustees said ‘Nadine from the East Midlands Baby Show contacted us within days of us setting up Forever Stars and made this amazing offer of support. It is because people like Nadine took a leap of faith with us in the early days, we have managed to raise over £40k in just 9 months.
