Kyron Henderson is a class of 2022 Wide Receiver for Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas. Although he is only a high school senior, Kyron possesses a build most receiver dream of at 6’6” 200 lbs. With this build, he is able to be any kind of receiver you need him to be, either going up for jump balls or making a play after the catch. His versatility as a receiver makes his potential unmatched at the next level. He may be a star on the football field, but his excellence in the classroom matches that with a 3.7 GPA. Kyron Henderson is definitely a player to look out for in his senior season. Why did you choose to play football and when did you start? I started playing football at 8 year old, I chose to play it because I was really good at a young age. What life skills has football taught you over time? To stay humble and not to get sidetracked.

Would you consider yourself a RAC (Run After Catch), Possession, or a go

up and get it type of receiver? I would consider myself to be a little bit of all three. I can be any type of receiver the coach needs me to be.

Do you act as an agile receiver who avoids contact, or do you not shy away

from it? I run into contact and bounce off of it. As a Wide Receiver, what is your favorite route to run? Why? I like to run a fade, comeback and post corner, because it’s easy to get open. Would you rather have the corner press up, or play off of you? It don’t matter, he’s getting mossed. What are some things you have to do to beat your man? I slap him to the sideline, after that they’re behind me. What are some things you look for when you line up on the ball? To see if the corner is going to be inside or outside. After that, I can make my next move. Do you have a favorite career moment up to this point? We were playing against Carter High School, and I caught a hitch and go and took it the distance. What current or past player, do you think your game mirrors the most? I think Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss’s style mirrors my game the most. Does your jersey number hold any significance to you? I think the lowest number on the team is the best player on the team. I would be number 1 but that number was already taken. How has Basketball improved your game on the gridiron? Basketball has taught me how to get past people; You can use basketball moves in a football game. Outside of sports, do you have any hobbies you like to do? Play video games. What your favorite pre-game song to listen to? My favorite song is I Run Spider Gang, Maine Musik. In your opinion, what is the best aspect of your game? My hands and my height, my hands are like glue not many balls getting dropped. How do you think Covid-19 impacted your junior season? It messed up my junior season really bad, recruiting was slowed down and I didn’t get to go on a lot of visits. Do you have any goals set for you senior year? I want to get SAT score up so no college can turn me down. At the end of the day, who is someone you look up to? I look up to my Paw Paw, Keith Roberts.

Describe a time where you were going through adversity, how did you get
