Foreword Falmouth has a vibrant and exciting events calendar and this is very important to the town’s atmosphere and economy. There are many people including volunteers who work hard throughout the year to ensure all events are professional and well organised. Organisations include the Town Council, Business Improvement District, Fal River & Visitor Information Centre, RNLI, Falmouth Festivals, Pubs United and many, many others. The town has many popular annual events which develop year on year such as Falmouth Week, Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival and SPLASH. We also have significant one-off events from the Olympic Torch last year to Armed Forces Day Cornwall which is taking place in June this year to the Tall Ships Regatta in August 2014.
