In La Porte ISD, we believe STEM education opens doors for each student through interdisciplinary learning rooted in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. • STEM Exploration through Makerspaces in grade 2
• Makerspaces are student focused, minimal instruction given. Students receive challenge cards and create whatever maybe on the card using materials provided. They can let their imagination and creativity fly and create what they desire.
