This month, I attended Lexus Laceup on September 7th and at the event we were tasked with handing out water to the runners and cheering them on. It was an enjoyable experience where I was able to experience the inclusiveness that Key Club offers. Maintaining energy to encourage the runners was fairly easy because everyone was enjoying their time with their friends and club. It was a rewarding experience and I highly recommend members to attend next year’s Lexus Laceup! - Vina Dang

Out of all the events in September, I think the Surf City event was my favorite one because not only did it give me so much service hours, it made me experience what volunteering is like for clubs. What I like about the event was helping people sign in and having fun with my fellow key clubbers. This was probably my phenomenal experience of being in key club and I can not wait for what's more to come. For the event, we were a second shift for helping the people sign up for the marathon. We had to stay 4-10 to help; six hours of service. After getting all the people registered for the marathon, we just wait for them to finish so then we can show them their time or what place they were in. Overall, everyone had fun dedicating their time to go to an event like this. If there was another event like this that's coming up in key club, I would not miss that opportunity to go. - Ryan Duong

I really enjoy the recent DCM, mainly due to the color fest. My friends and I had a lot of fun bonding with each other while also meeting new people from different Key Clubs. The atmosphere was very welcoming and fun, everyone was nice and seemed to enjoy themselves. The color war was the most fun event for me personally, it was very chaotic but fun at the same time - Khoa Ly
