MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR Dear Friends, I am honoured to extend this invitation, to my colleagues in the field of obesity and related disorders, to attend the 3rd International Consensus Conference on Duodenal Switch (ICCDS 2018) scheduled for May 17-18, 2018 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. ICCDS 2018 is being held as a Pre-Conference Workshop in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Bariatric Physicians and Surgeons (CABPS) annual Conference. ICCDS 2018 will feature eight (8) live surgeries from world-leading expert operators. The scientific content is brimming with talks from renowned international leaders who will share their expertise on Duodenal Switch and its variants. The presentations promise to be interactive and you will be able to engage with world-renowned bariatricians. The program is varied with live surgeries, didactic sessions and interesting surgical videos. Delegates will have an opportunity to network with the Faculty during the “Meet the Faculty Reception” on Thursday evening – we hope this forum provides an opportunity for you to acquire new information that you can apply to your practice and for you to catch up with colleagues and friends.
