Second quarter review Dear Clients & Friends, First and foremost, I must thank you all. I did not know what to expect for this year when I started out. My goals, honestly, were beyond modest. I’ve surpassed most of my own expectations for the year in terms of sessions and clients - and I owe every bit of that to you. I owe everything to those of you who took a chance on hiring me for the first time and to those of you who keep coming back. Words are not adequate to express how truly grateful I am. I am humbled.

This work of preserving our memories and our fleeting moments brings me so much joy. I love sharing this with all of you. I can’t think of anything that calls to me more than stopping time for each of you. Thank you for letting me.

Session Highlight: The “R” Family !

Choosing one session to highlight here was no easy task, but I decided to introduce you to this family for a few reasons.

Firstly, I just loved how Summery their session turned out to be. The bright dandelions, green grass, and little man’s red checkered shirt just all came together for a session that said “summer!”

Secondly, I had a lot of fun on this shoot - but our man in red was not interested in taking pictures when we started. I think it is important for parents to know that young kids often take a while to warm up - and by the end of this session, we not only had great pictures, but we were also friends, too. :) Finally, I love a family silhouette, and I really liked how this one turned out. It’s not always easy to hike up a hill at the end of a session when everyone is tired- but these guys were totally up for it, and I’m so glad they were. Thanks again, R Family, I had a blast!

I introduced my referral and returning client rewards last quarter, and I’ve been happy to see so many people use them!

When a client books a full portrait session and says you referred them, BOTH of you will receive a $25 discount applied to your next session. It’s a win-win!

Here’s the best part - if you have multiple referrals, you will receive a discount reward for each one, and you can stack them up to the full price of a portrait session!

Fall Portraits

There is no question that Fall is the busiest time of year for many photographers.

We are lucky enough to live in New England, where the fall foliage and the golden afternoon light provide amazing backdrops for those family portraits.

If you are considering fall family pictures, I would encourage you to grab your date as soon as you can! I will be limiting sessions to two per weekend, so space is limited.

One important note is that I will be raising my session prices as of September 1st.

At that time, sessions will be $425. More details will be available on the website.

Please remember, returning customers and referred new customers still get a $25 discount. I will honor my summer prices ($375) for any fall session that is booked with a deposit by September 1st.

As always - I’m only an email or phone call away, so if you’re curious about that certain date all of your family is going to be around, just ask!

Let’s Connect I love connecting with all of you over social media. I am happy that most of you are already fans of the Facebook page, and that has served me well as a tool to share work as well as make announcements.
