I cannot believe how fast summer has come and gone. My crew and I had a fantastic time and took full advantage of lazy summer days at the lake, late bedtimes, and lots of ice cream. We enjoyed every single last bit of it.

I had the privilege of shooting for many families & events and we wrapped up summer with my first ever back-to-school mini sessions - which were a lot of fun and turned out to be a great way to meet new people. I think we will certainly do it again next year.

Session Highlight: Back-to-School Minis ! This year, I decided to try something different and offered Back-to-School Mini sessions. I was so happy that all the slots were filled quickly and with a combination of new and familiar faces. On the day of the session, I arrived to discover a volleyball tournament was happening on our planned field! A bit of quick emailing and some quick scouting - we found a second location and everyone was able to find me (whew). The rest was just FUN. I truly had a blast taking these shots, meeting these kids (and their parents) and I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I did. I am planning to do the same thing again next year since this year went so well.

Let’s Talk About Newborn Sessions ! There are few things as sweet and special as a newborn baby. The excitement and love felt by a family welcoming that baby into their fold is a heart-warming and one-of-a-kind time. It is why so many people choose to hire a photographer to capture those fleeting first moments. My newborn photography services can be categorized as “lifestyle” sessions. A lifestyle session means I come and capture you and your family just as you are. There are no backdrops or baby studios, there are few props and nothing is overly posed. This means I capture you holding you baby, loving and kissing them. I capture your baby sleeping in their crib, on your bed, or in daddy’s arms. We capture siblings inspecting and tickling their new sibling. I capture the details from that new little face to those fresh little toes. Lifestyle newborn photography is beautiful, intimate, and real.

Fall Portraits
Fall is the photographer’s busy season! From the first orange leaf in September to the last leaf left in December, I will be out there capturing you and your families. Fall is gorgeous, the light can’t be beat, and the sun sets early enough that most photo sessions no longer interfere with little ones’ bedtimes. In addition to the lovely light we get in fall, there are no shortage of picturesque backdrops to choose from here in New England. I am very much looking forward to what this season brings!
