Transdisciplinary Laboratory Of Scenography

O Laboratório Transdisciplinar de Cenografia (LTC) foi criado com o intuito de participar, em 2010, na USP, da Mostra das Escolas de Cenografia do Brasil para a Quadrienal de 2011.

O LTC é formado por grupos de alunos e ex-alunos dos departamentos de Comunicação, Design, Artes Plásticas, Arquitetura, Ciências e Tecnologias, que se juntaram aos alunos de Artes Cênicas para atenderem às necessidades múltiplas dos projetos.

No LTC, o desenho da cena é compreendido como uma atividade transdisciplinar que exige inteligência coletiva: a soma de indivíduos reunidos

The Transdisciplinary Laboratory of Scenography (LTC), Extension Project of Continuing Action of the University of Brasilia, was created by professor Sônia Paiva in order to be part of the selection, at USP, of the Exhibition of Brazil´s Schools of Scenography for the Quadrennial of 2011, and it is formed by student and former student groups from the departments of communication, industrial design, plastic arts, architecture, sciences and Technologies, that gathered the students of performing arts to meet the multiple needs of the projects.

In the LTC, the scene design is comprehended as a transdisciplinary activity colaborativa e coletivamente em torno da criação, planejamento e produção de projetos; uma coletividade que reflete o novo artista/intelectual, que deve entender artes, ciências, tecnologia e comunicação para dar conta da complexidade dos tempos que correm.

O essencial na transdisciplinaridade, como dito por Ubiratan D’Ambrósio, reside numa postura de reconhecimento do outro, na qual não há espaço e tempos culturais privilegiados que julguem e/ou hierarquizem. Trata-se de um conceito que repousa sobre uma atitude aberta, de respeito mútuo e humildade em relação a mitos, religiões, sistemas de explicações e conhecimento, rejeitando qualquer tipo de arrogância ou preconceito.

Na sua essência, a transdisciplinaridade é transcultural.

Brasileiros do Desenho da Cena na PQ15 that requires collective intelligence: the sum of individuals reunited in a colaborative and collective way around the creation, planning and production of projects; a collectivity that reflects the new artist/scholar, that applies to arts, sciences, Technologies and communication to cope with the complexity of current times.

The foundation to transdisciplinarity, as said by Ubiratan D’Ambrósio, resides in a posture of recognition of the other, in which there is no privileged space or cultural time to judge or put hierarchy. It is a concept with an open attitude, of mutual respect and humility about myths, religion, explanation systems and knowledge, rejecting any kind or arrogance or prejudice. In its essence, transdisciplinarity is transcultural.
