DAY OF AGENDA On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Lube-Tech will host their 18th Annual 140 Golf Invitational benefitting Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). We are proud to have been ranked amongst the top 10 charity golf tournaments in the Twin Cities over the past 10 years. Together, we have funded nearly $3.5M in research that has potentially saved lives of kids fighting cancer. Our tournament is a shotgun start with a scramble format providing a fun and challenging environment for golfers of all skill levels. TOURNAMENT FORMAT THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE CONDUCTED AS A SCRAMBLE: This is a four-person scramble. If your team is playing with three players, you can alternate having a player hit twice - so your team gets four chances like everybody else. All players hit, pick the best shot and all hit from that spot, continuing until the hole is completed. Players are to hit their shot within one club length from the original location of the chosen shot. NOTE: With the one club rule – you cannot move the ball outside of a hazard, from rough to fairway or from out-of-bounds to in-bounds. Ladies and Seniors (65+) from forward tees and all others from middle tees. The winning foursome is the one with the lowest net under par. (-4 is better than -3, and +3 is better than +5). Similar to last year, we will utilize a mobile app called “Golf Genius” to keep score (paper scorecards will be in your cart for reference).

BELLA'S UPDATE When then 4-year-old Bella complained of incredible pain in her tummy. Later, Bella’s mom, Tabitha, noticed a hard lump in Bella’s abdomen, so at Bella’s next checkup, she brought it up to the doctor. “I could tell by the look on the doctor’s face that something wasn’t right,” Tabitha said. The next day, Bella had surgery so doctors could determine what the mass was. After the surgery, an oncologist sat down with the family to give them the news that would change their lives. Bella had hepatoblastoma – liver cancer. Tabitha says that the hardest thing about Bella’s cancer journey was watching the multitude of tests and procedures become her daughter’s new normal. Bella had procedure after procedure, including a liver transplant that took doctors 11 hours. One thing that made everything a little less scary is Bella’s doll, Jessie. Jessie got every poke and procedure that Bella did, and she went to every appointment. Bella’s laugh infectious laugh won the hearts of many doctors and nurses. But Tabitha’s favorite thing about her giggly, upbeat daughter is her compassion for others. No matter what she’s going through, Bella checks in with her family and friends to make sure they are all doing well. This difficult journey has brought Tabitha’s attention to childhood cancer as a whole. She’s amazed and frustrated by what she’s found – that research into treatments for cancers like Bella’s doesn’t have enough support to move forward. “Bella’s cancer is rare, but it’s on the rise in kids, and it’s not really being researched enough. When I found that out, all I could think was, ‘Why not?’” Tabitha said. “Why aren’t we there yet? And is it because researchers don’t have the funding?” Today, Bella is cancer-free, but her old “normal” is in the past. Bella will be on medications for the rest of her life to ensure her body doesn’t reject her new liver, and she has regular labs and appointments. “I want to see her change the world,” Tabitha said. “She already has, she’s helped so many people. I’m excited to see how her story continues to unfold.” 13
