Our delegation targets are determined through highly focused planning: 

Market research in partnership with global analyst firms to identify industry trends, challenges, and forecasted budget spending patterns

Review of topics and ideal delegates with our Summit Advisory Board, consisting of Global Industry Thought leaders and end users

Creation of a targeted program agenda to attract the relevant delegates

Formulation of a specific Delegate Target Report, which identifies the parameters in which we would define an ideal delegation, broken down by region, company size, budget size, and key focus areas.

Analysis of each delegate who confirms attendance with assigned points value based around correlation with delegate target

PART 1: REGISTRATION PROFILE ArcelorMittal is among the five largest producers of iron ore and metallurgical coal, or coking coal, and our mining business is an essential part of our strategy. With a geographically diversified portfolio of iron ore and coal assets, we are strategically positioned to serve our network of steel plants and the external global market. ArcelorMittal is among the largest iron ore producers in the world. Our iron ore mining operations are located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Liberia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Algeria and Kazakhstan. In Canada, the company is developing a large greenfield project on Baffin Island. Our metallurgical coal mining operations are located in the United States and Kazakhstan. In 2014, our mines and strategic contracts produced 77.0 Million tonnes of iron ore and 7.7 Million tonnes of coking coal and PCI. It is well understood that in mining, those companies with large-scale, long-life and low-cost mining assets are better able to sustain profitability during downturns and deliver shareholder value through the entire business cycle. Iron ore is the primary raw material in steelmaking and coal is used as fuel to melt the ore. Our goal is to achieve a production capacity of 84 Million tonnes of iron ore by 2015. Our acquisition of Baffinland Iron Ore Mines, in partnership with Nunavut Iron Ore, has consolidated our position as a major iron ore producer. As part of this project, we will develop a mine in Nunavut, a territory in the Canadian Arctic. Our long-life iron ore and coal reserves provide a measure of security of supply and an important natural hedge against raw material volatility and global supply constraints. We are building a world-class mining business, focusing on value and growth.
