The Festival Season spans from the magical Spellbound festival in Edmonton in July to the Mayor’s Fun Run at Forty Hall in September and takes us to Ponders End for the Bangla Mela and Family Fun Day in August, the all new Southgate Festival in July, the wonderful Palmers Green Festival and of course the 60th Anniversary of the Enfield Town Show, both in September. Beginners course looking at two different types of Jacobean preserve; a traditional fruit jam and a nutty “marmalade” that would have been part of the final, elaborate banqueting course for a celebration meal. The Palmers Green Community Festival 2013 will climax on Sunday 1st September between noon and 7pm in Broomfield Park.
