T

he club provides approximately 40 river moorings, 7 walk ashore berths, 3 visitor berths and dinghy storage both ashore and afloat. River moorings are allocated on a three-year tenure, and are suitable for boats up to 40 feet (12.2m), many being located on a long pontoon near the club. If demand exceeds supply, then moorings at the end of the three-year tenure are allocated by ballot in December. The Prince Phillip Yacht Haven has 7 walk ashore berths with water and electricity, which are let on a rolling annual contract (for which there is a waiting list) and can be sublet when berth holders are away. It also provides three visitor berths, also with water and electricity.

The Club pontoon from which the launch service operates is free for members dinghies and tenders for up to 2 hours on the south side of the pontoon, whilst the member is on club grounds. The slipway is also free to use for the launching and recovery of dinghies and tenders at all states of tide. Trolleys are available in the dinghy park and a foot operated electric winch at the top of the slipway makes for an easier life. The club launch service provides free transit to and from boats for members and their guests to all moorings situated between Hamble Point Marina downstream and Bursledon moorings at Universal Marina upstream. The service typically operates on Fridays (member volunteer service), Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays in the summer and weekends in the winter at times specified on the club noticeboard and website.
