SIMPLE OR COMPLEX

• The place that I have choose is at East Ham, is an empty space next to a flip out building and in front there are some shops, it would be a local movie theatre. I will be building this as there is not much spaces around the area where people can spend time with their family of friends apart of parks and if they want to go and watch a movie they have to go to Stratford, 20 minutes on bus with no much traffic but instead this movie theatre will be closer for the people living on East Ham a few minutes walking.

• The theme for this project is simple or complex but it will be inspired by nature, dunes and streams, so it would have some kind of flow, waves and curves. I think the model will end up more complex than simple because of the wavy structure of the building.

I CHOOSE THIS PLACE

BECAUSE IT IS AN EMPTY SPACE, HERE I COULD DEVELOP A SPACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, ALSO THERE IS A FLIPP OUT AND PUBS AROUND THE AREA SO WHEN PEOPLE GET OUT OF THE PLACE THEY CAN GO AROUND.

I used dunes as a source of inspiration to create a model, because I like the way the dunes are always changing due to the wind.

The flower petals have a flow that will allow me to experiment.
