It makes us consider the end of our actions from every angle. For the team at Vendella, Sustainability is a way of business that ensures we are here, caring for the needs and demands of tomorrow and beyond.
Environmental Vendella is focusing on reducing our carbon footprint, packaging waste, natural resource usage and our overall effect on the environment. Combined with this is our strategies to off-set any outstanding effect on the environment by giving back which includes recycling over 2 million plastic bottles and planting thousands of native trees throughout the country per annum.
Economic The economic pillar includes compliance, proper governance, risk management and profitability. It is the inclusion of the economic pillar and profitability that makes it possible for Vendella to come on board with and embark on new sustainability strategies. The economic pillar ensures we take a balanced and holistic approach to our efforts as without this pillar, the whole organisation is not sustainable.
Social Vendella strives to have the support and approval of its employees, stakeholders and the community we operate in. Our purpose is to be respected as an organisation; internally, locally and globally. Internally we focus on retention and engagement strategies for our staff while externally, we show our support though sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and investment in public projects. On a global scene, we are focused on how our supply chain is filled and that suppliers are also aware of the responsibilities they hold as part in our industry.
We Give Back. A big part of how we do business is the companies we partner with and charities we support. For us, business is not all about how much we can get out, it's about how many we can help. For these reasons, we support these charities in view of helping the community around us. We believe that "if you give, you get"
