The Internet is here to meet our customers needs in every way possible. We try to make the process of browsing as simple as we can, so our customers can find what they want as quickly as possible. We at The Internet understand how valuble time is to people and we can help manage that by being simple to use and understanding our customers objectives.

We like to get to know our customers and know more about them, so this can help us provide a better service for them. This is a key principle of ours to move forward as a business. For us to do this we make our services available for interaction, which helps us know who our target audience is for each of our service departments. This is also a fun way for our customers to ineract with us.

As a business here at The Internet we like to look nice for our customers. This helps us project across our clean and friendly appearence, but also makes our customers be proud to use our services. We also do this to attract more people of all ages and genders to find something that they can engage with and be able to enjoy our services that we prodvide.

Our Pieces

The department of Social Network is specifically for our customers to interact with other people in a variety different ways. Our services provide accessibility of our customers, photographs, work, feelings and emotions, as well as videos and dating requirements. We like to give people the option of staying in touch with their friends and family through messaging, images and video clips. Some of our services do different things to each of the other, as well as some producing the same qualities as others. Here at the Internet communication is key and we have provided people with that communication through a range of different products. This is so that family members and friends have the chance to stay in touch wherever they are.

Our Pieces

Our shopping department allows all of our customers the access of so many different products and services. These services include brand new and reused fashion items, takeaway food, betting on sports and events, tickets to events, entertainment and electrical items. We also provide the opportunity for our customers to sell their own products through our services. This is a way for our customers to interact with other people to sell and buy each others unwanted stuff, through a simple understandable service.

We at The Internet understand that everyone needs some down time, to be abe to relax and take their mind of things. This is where our gaming department provide our customers, with different genres of games wheather its brainteasers or just simply throwing birds at pigs, we have it all covered. With the access available from your TV, computer and mobile phone no matter where our customers are and what they want to play, it is available for them.

Our Pieces

The Internet’s searching department is the service that has most of our activity. This is down to people wanting to to find things, research things that their curious about. We offer this service because, it links all of our other departments together as one. When a customer is looking for something in particular, they can use our searching services which will dig though all of our other departments to find out if the information they seek is available to them. This helps us make a simpler and more efficient way for our customers to find what they want in quick time.

Our Pieces

The news is a big part of everyday life, The Internet provide a wide range of different news services. Some of our news servicies link with our Social Networking department, whereas others split off into sub services like news specifics. This includeds news from Sport, Entertainment and even a different coutry specifically. We provide this service because our customers like to know what is going on in the world and we feel that people would like different perspectives on the same story. This makes us more engaging with our customers because of the amount of choice that is available to them that we provide.

The logo we have here at The Internet works on all backgrounds apart from black, which is where our text is changed to white. This is because our original text is black and it will not stand out on the same colour background for obvious reasons. The minimum size requirements of the logo is 15mm wide for print or 45 pixels for digital. This is so that the logo isn’t too small and our customers and target audiences can see ur affiliation with services.

We have kept our monochrome logo similar with our main logo. This is with the three dots we have greyscaled them because we wanted to keep the effect of the fading out on the logo but we needed to have different colours to go from dark to light. These colours stay the same no matter the background, however the text changes from black to white just like our main logo.

Our primary typeface is Helvetica, with the clean and modern look, it is easily readable to our customers. For main headings we use Helvetica Bold at a point size of 27pt and a leading of 33pt so the letters are well spread apart but still gives the dominance of a main heading. For our sub-headings, Helvetica Light is used at 18pt and 22pt leading. This is to continue with the modern feel but not as strong effect as the main heading. For our body text The Internet use Helvetica Regular, because it is clear and it is readable at 11pt, and 16pt leading, which makes it not too big or too small.
