Alfa Jazz Fest is included to the list of jazz festivals recommended by the influential magazine JazzTimes The festival took place on the list of notable jazz forums in summer 2014, which is recommended to visit by the editors. The American edition notes that about a hundred world-class musicians will gather for the fourth time at the festival to perform on three stages. About 40,000 music lovers have an opportunity to see them in Lviv, Ukraine. JazzTimes – one of the most influential edition in the United States devoted to jazz. The magazine was founded in 1970 (originally called Radio Free Jazz), almost all the leading American jazz journalists are published in the magazine.

Meetings of foreign delegations Alfa Jazz Fest has become a platform for meetings between Ukrainian and Western business elite - series of meetings with foreign ambassadors and delegations were held within the festival: meeting of the British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce round table of French-Ukrainian Chamber together with the Association "The French business community in Ukraine" Bavarian meeting (organized by the Delegation of German Economy in Ukraine)

This supergroup is a constellation of the most prominent representatives of fusion: Mike Stern (guitar), Bill Evans (sax, keyboards), Tom Kennedy (bass guitar), Steve Smith (drums). Paquito D'Rivera - Cuban jazz alto and soprano saxophonist, clarinetist, a member of the popular Cuban jazz-rock band Irakere. Multiple winner and nominee for Grammy award. Collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie, Earl Hines, Stan Getz, McCoy Tyner, Randy Brecker, Arturo Sandoval, Chucho Valdes, Yo-Yo Ma and others.

Wayne Shorter Quartet (USA)
Wayne Shorter - American jazz tenor and soprano saxophonist and composer, a multiple Grammy award winner, who is known as the greatest composer in jazz alive. In 2015 he received Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contribution to the development of music.

Hiromi - jazz composer and pianist from Japan. She is known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances and mixing in her compositions of different musical genres, such as post-bop, progressive rock, classic and jazz.

George Benson (USA)
George Benson - a ten-time Grammy Award winner, American musician and singer-songwriter. Benson is recognized as one of the greatest guitarists in jazz history. He played in the range of swing and bop to jazz-rock and smooth-jazz, sometimes moving in the rhythm and blues and pop music.
