Kids for Kids a Sell Out The World Vision 'Kids for Kids' concert at the Bruce Mason Centre on Thursday night was well worth the price of admission. Featuring a choir made up of schools from across Auckland, including 50 plus from Yr 4 at CBS, the evening provided great entertainment hosted by Jackie Clark and friends. As well as making a significant contribution to the chorus CBS students also featured in a dance routine and a solo singer. Thanks to Sharon Knight for training the choir at such a busy time of the year. (This concert coincided with the count down to Peter Pan this week, while the choir for the Auckland Primary Principals' Association Music Festival to be held in the Auckland Town Hall in November is training under the guidance of Jenny Watt). The arts are alive and well!
Friday, 19 September Orders due for calendars, cards and diaries. Class placements due back.

Calendars, Cards and Diaries
Here is a great Christmas gift idea for friends and family. Your child’s artwork featured on a 2015 calendar, diary or pack of 8 blank cards. Calendars are bound with wire and the artwork is laminated. They include the dates for the school terms and NZ public holidays. They also come with stickers to highlight special events like birthdays. Cards are blank so they can be used for any occasion. Your child’s name is printed on the back of the card. All 8 high quality cards are printed with the same art design. Diaries have a hard cover and measure 148mmn by 210mm. View a week at a glance—each page displays the full week from Monday to Sunday. At the beginning of each month there is a monthly overview. Orders Orders can be made online using the Kindo system
https://shop.tgcl.co.nz Orders need to be made by Friday 19 September.

A big 'good luck' to Aaron Gascoigne, father of Jack Gascoigne Rm 33 for his time on MKR (My Kitchen Rules on Channel 1). He recently came on to the show as a 'gate crasher' and we look forward to seeing his cooking creations and wish him the best of luck.
