Little Hippo & His Magic Pen Created by Tam Tam Theatre
Little Hippo received lots of presents for his birthday. His favourite present was from Daddy Hippo — a special red pen with some beautiful things inside it. But Little Hippo needs your help to get them out! This interactive version of the popular tale told in english and french, includes the chance to have a go with Little Hippo’s magic pen. Based on the all-time favourite story Little Red Riding Hood, follow a magical path through the woods for a memorable journey with puppetry, colour and specially composed music. Set in an old Russian fair, Krazy Kat Theatre tell the story of a mysterious travelling showman and his magical puppets that come alive — and Petrushka is the most unruly puppet of all. What happens when you’re a horse and your owner is more interested in watching the telly than taking you out for a ride? When the remote control is unexpectedly dropped within hoofreach, a lonely horse’s life suddenly takes a new tack — she realises she’s not just a dumb animal and starts a quest for a herd, humour and a life without shoes… Having boldly taken Muttnik the Dog into space last season, Niki McCretton returns with tap dancing hooves and nostalgic TV clips of Black Beauty and Champion the Wonder Horse.
