Dylan Vielhauer, signed his letter of intent with Embry Riddle to play college baseball. Lacrosse player, Stone Foster, signed his letter of intent Leo Rutledge signed with TCC for Cross Country with Flagler College to play at the collegiate level. and will continue his running career across town.
Soccer player, Drew Daunt signed with Belmont Abbey to play soccer. Daunt, a two-time FHSAA State Finalist, was a Maclay Captain for the 2020-2021 season.
Paredes and Sweeney Named FHSAA Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Michael Sweeney and Daniela Paredes were named to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team, a recognition program that honors 24 graduating student-athletes who excel in both athletics and academics. Sweeney was later named Florida’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the state of Florida.
Andy Warner Inducted into Hall of Fame The Florida Athletic Coaches Association held its 45th Annual Hall of Fame induction on January 9th in Daytona Beach. Five outstanding coaches were inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame including Maclay School’s longtime soccer coach Andy Warner. Warner’s soccer career has spanned over 40 years. He came to Maclay under a one-year commitment in 1990 and 30 years later amassed 465 wins, four state championships, and six runner-up finishes while leading the Marauders. 18
